@Bread_or_Decide: I hope we don't get Fire Emblem for at least 2 or 3 more years. That's probably how long it will take me to beat all of these. Unless the next one is on the NX....
@Xenro4: If you buy one version for $40, the other one is discounted by half ($20) as DLC. Conquest is DLC only and $20. If you buy the Special Edition it's $80. I got the special edition, but I ordered it through Gamespot's site so I don't get it until Wednesday, despite it shipping out yesterday. Damn snail mail...
@kaiserdisco: Yea they need half-steps for sure. No need to do 8.7s and 6.1s, but .5s would be cool. I'm not digging the current rating system. I'm a sucker for old-school pre-2007 GS reviews where the overall score was based on points in 5 categories.
@Bahamut50: It gives you time to beat at least one of the other versions. I'll be going with Birthright since I'm a wuss and hate perma-death. That is literally the only thing I hate about Fire Emblem. I'm so glad it's an option now.
@Gelugon_baat: Ellen Page was a child actor. I don't see what the issue is. I actually very much agree with that review. It was a great concept but ultimately wasted potential. It should have been chronological, it should have had a better script, it should have NOT done a lot of things. For what it's worth, my favorite part of the game was the part where she goes to the house in the desert, which has little to no bearing on the overall plot at all. More wasted potential!
I do love me some melodrama tho. I never knew that was the original meaning. I will spread this info like the plague! Ironically, the moment I learned what melodrama was was when someone described the opening dialogue in Castlevania SotN between Dracula and Hector (is that right?) Belmont, which doesn't even have any music!
