i think that the war is kind of going in a new direction. with the invasion of the town Marjha. yes there were civilian casualties, but they are driving out the insurgents there, and are trying to bring the civilians as much aid as possible. On another note the u.s. military happens to be the most powerful in the history of the world. yes if they tried to invade a country like russia or china they would get messed up, but in terms of numbers, training, spending and technology they are at the top.
