Everyone is entitled to an opinion - but I'd be very careful in just dismissing them or throwing them to the sidelines, especially with announcing who is when and for what a minority. The whole "it stops being Art if it is changed or adjusted" sentiment does certainly not go with my opinion, especially considering the fact that in games, especially those with a connection of EA, the concept of economy - or plain: money making - does already compromise the most base idea of art. And to stick with an area that EA is familiar with - piss off enough fans, and there will be less sales for a while. As a personal note - I would have had less issues with the endings, if we hadn't been promised and told other things about them, and I would have had even less issues, if I hadn't just found out how the "original" ending was supposed to be and that one would have surpassed a thousand-fold the things we have seen. Besides, as it was mentioned before, Games might fall out of your "typical art" since it is adjustable or expandable with expansions, patches and DLC, so to say art is no longer art if it is changed - doesn't seem to work with games. Then again - Edgar Allen Poe (among others) actually changed a few things in his works - in the second edition - so, no matter if you like him or not, his works are no longer art?
