wow..................... o_o ...is it really THAT serious. i personally don't think it's that bad to get THAT irrate about, but to each it's own, i guess... :\\
@MTMind2 in theory, you make sense, but your forgeting one important factor. with multiplatformers they focus on one console and port to the other. which shows proof because a game port to 360 does look worst, just like a game port PS3. porting a game to a hardware that is completely different is not a fair trail in my opinion. about PC games, 360 and PC arent that much different, so games are easier to make and take advantage of on both(especially PC). your opinion about multiplatform being fair demenstration of consoles power was a fair statement however with the complexity and vast differences, and time needed to work on each console makes what you claim fall short imho. despite your claims that exclusives covers up weakness and focus on strengths, multiplatformer simply focus on one console which has it's specific weakness and strength and port it over to a hardware with totally different strengths and weakness and use what ever remaining time to balance it out. so my friend... how fair is that, really? i honestly believe to truly get an idea of how powerful each consoles is, you need to look at the exclusives because the only limitation they have is the console, and in some causes the developer themselves are limitations. if a person wants to argue or make excuses about why one console is carrying better exclusives, i think you need to look at the developers and the system itself because they are the only limitation.
@knoetgen LoL. i guess you can see which console i prefer... but i didnt intend to make it evident. to be honest i just listed the top 360 games that came to mind and that i wanted to play(with the exception of Halo. dont like that game... not much of a FPS, but 360 fans praised the game so much that it kind of go hand and hand with the system. LoL), i was not trying to make an unfair judgement. trust me i give credit where and when credit is due.
Dont know why people always try to debate about games that are multiplatform. to much variables that could be arguable. I believe the best way to compare is to look at exclusives because they leave LITTLE room to question or argue. exclusives fully focus on one consoles which increases the quality, but the developer also plays a major factor. games like MGS4, Uncharted 1&2, Killzone 2, Heavenly Sword, etc... is PS3 at their current best. Halo3, GoW 1&2, Fable, etc... is 360 at their current best. IMHO. back to the article though... i'm glad to see multiplatform games looking better on PS3.
