I usally buy from ebay caz better pictures and I feel safer.

Best advise I can give is never buy stock photo games

I always found it fishie they couldn't get a cam or scan it so you don't know what your really getting.....

Then avoid cheap hong kong sellers there likely to be knock off items :/

You can always try your local game store but it's likely your only getting a disk rather than case + manual

Thats why I buy off of ebay I can find a complete game

I can say go for the usal spyro and crash

incredible crisis ( One of the oddest ps1 games basicly there *** mini games I still find it very hard to play >.< )

but there quite pricey....these days.... check on youtube for them see if there to your liking

Not as of yet, most are mainstearm games I played when they came out and found I didn't like.....(like devil may cry and such)

So I am finally buying a PS2 off my friend, I'm getting a couple great games Killzone and Twisted Metal Black What else should I get? Dynasty Warriours 3? or 4 I perfer 3 tho and on very hard mode It's a hack n' slash game set in han dynasty around the great fights of the 3 kingdoms to take over all of china. They made mannnny seques but I found 3 to be well rounded you can prolly find videos of it on youtube see if you like it

The first model of slims has problems but the very newest models which all retailers have is the best PS2 model/version to date.

I really want to see what final fantasy 7 was all about, but I can't find any copies under $60, and I'd rather not pay that much for a game/series I haven't tried yet.

Maybe try the PC version? Just to get the story line and etc o.o;

You can play ps1 games on ps2 Just if you buy stuff from ebay stay away from hong kong ebay sellers selling cheap or free shipping items.(There usally knock-offs) And For memory cards buy official Playstation ones since certain game fail safe if you don't (atleast FF7 does).

Good ps1 games cost alot unless it's like ape escape,spyro, or normal classics there cheap.

For Ps2 I'm currently playing FF12 it's fun then

Dynasty Warriors 3 was the best out of the series

I just bought a PS2, and I bought Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank. I enjoy them both, and on Monday I'm buying a few more. I was gonna get Bully and San Andreas, but I can't find San Andreas anywhere, (curse you Jack Thompson!) so I was looking for a few others. I was looking for a non-random battle RPG game, as well as a sandbox style game, like Grand Theft Auto, except I played every one but San Andreas. So, something like GTA. Answer and you get a cookie. Answer quick, and you get two cookies!_IronManDude_

Non-random rpg I'd say Final Fantasy XII

I like it prolly should rent it 1st since it's a new battle system than other FFs.

I'd say alot better than FFX-2 meh I would died caz I was waiting to use Hi-potion -.-;

Unfortunately people on ebay are crazy and will pay an exorbitant amount of money to acquire the rare games they desire. I tried earlier to get a copy of Persona 2, but the price jumped up dramatically in the last minute and I was left in the dust. I just can't justify paying 80-100 bucks for a game, no matter how rare or good it might be. I'd pay about 40-50 to get a copy of Persona 2, but that'll probably be very difficult, especially on ebay.

It also stings because apparently Atlus re-released about 500 copies of Persona 2 exclusively on Amazon last month to celebrate the launch of Persona 4, but I was unaware of that glorious sale. I would have jumped all over that if I had knew about it. Oh well, the hunt continues...
