I'm Back!

from a 11 day trip to the holy land, i am finally home, it was really great and i recommend you to go there right away, very beautifull things.

Now to resume my normal life...

Good Bye!

off to Israel tommorow :D

need to get up at 5 AM, the flight is gonna leave at 9 PM so... gotta have a good night sleep, or i can sleep on the plane XD!

when i return i will tell everything about it

Good Bye!

Took the ol' scenic route

So, today, i lunched with my parents and went alone in the train to home, because my parents were doing a meeting in my church. (my dad is a Pastor), so i exited at the final station and went to the subway station, wich then i would take it and exit right in front of my home.

When i was at the ticket machine there was a "gentleman" who started to talk to me complaining that to recharge the cards, the minimun was 2€, and i had only 1€ in my pocket, so... i decided to walk to home, (didn't had any choce after all), that sweet 1 hour reminded me how beautifull Lisbon was, and today is 25th April, Liberty day here in Portugal, so they were handing Carnations (i will tell you why later).

It took me one hour to get home, but it was worth it.

i went from here:Train station

To here: My front door

The final countdown!!

So, Friday i'm of to Israel! XD

my parents have been preparing this trip for about 2 years and im going with 20 more people, and im the youngest one in the trip (im 17 years old...) but it will be awesome, lot of beach... getting my tan up-to-date, visit important religious sites, and many more...

when im back im going to post a lot of pics in here.... XD

i HATE ICELAND!!

Ok, i'm starting to freak out, next friday (the 30th) im off to Israel, the problem is, that stupid iceland volcano wont let me.

The problem isn't Israel or here, these two places aren't affected by the volcano, the problem is that i have to make scale in Bruxelles to get on the plane to Israel, and Bruxelles is currently afected by the volcano, so, if it continues like this there wont be any trip for me :(

The man who is working on our trip, is allready talking to the travel agency to see if there is another way, let's just hope there is, it has been 2 years hyping to this trip and no way a stupid volcano is going to stop me from going there...

Damn game prices!

Here, in Portugal, the games are priced way too high, thanks to their distributor, they are 70€ new, 30€ when they go platinum.

When my brother went to the UK, he said the games were 30 pounds, and i saw some retail prices at the USA and the games ther are usually 60$ (aprox. 45€), then, other stuff like The new nintendo DSi XL costs 180€ (aprox 240$), that's why i only buy games at the street fair near my house (yes you heardit... street fair) and import from the UK, or even pirate my PC games, no way im giving 90$ for a game...

Disapointed about UFC 112

Yesterday i saw UFC 112, good lineup, but they didn't live to their hype.

First the worst match of the night, and possibly the worst fight i ever seen so far:

Matt Hughes Vs. Renzo Gracie

Sure, Matt Hughes won by TKO, i dont know why, because they barely did anything there, they spent most of the time staring at eachother faces and nothing, only in the last round he decided to do something, and then TKO? man, wath a waste of my time.

Then, the Lightweight Championship fight between BJ Penn, and Frankie Edgar

This was a letdown too for me... BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar are both very versatile fighters and whenever you see them in the octagon you are looking forward to a brutal fight, that was not the case...as the previous fight, BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar, traded a couple of punches here and there, and some nice moments here and there too... but most of the time they were standing and doing nothing, 2 talented fighters that had to go to the judges decision, Frankie Edgar won, he deserved it, although if BJ fought like he usually does, we would take the belt back to his home

And then the main event, another letdown for me, Anderson Silva Vs Demien Maia

Anderson Silva, one of the best fighters in MMA, fighting against Demien Maia.

We know Anderson Silva for winning matches quickly and not get cocky, this match was the opposite, his opponent, Demien Maia, was scared to death inside the octagon, and still he didn't do nothing to KO the guy, he only wasted time, he even yelled at him to hit him, this match was a big letdown for me because we dont see Anderson Silva fight every week, and this was a big letdown for me, at the end Andersen Silva won by decision.

There were good fights too, like the first, Mark Munoz vs Kendall Grove, for me it was the best fight, he won by a TKO, and, although it was short, it was for me, the best match...

And here it is, UFC 112 wasn't all bad, but it wasn't very good either, the headlines were all disapointing, that is why i didn't like it very much, but let's see... UFC 113 is coming May 8, shame i'm on Israel that night...
