rent it and show them. it's no worse than any R-rated movie i've ever seen. I showed my mom Halo 2 in 7th grade with Johnson swearin at grunts and she said ok. it helps if one of your parents swears a lot and you have seen R-rated movies. a good time to ask would be the day after watching "Platoon" or a war movie with some nice gore and language.

I definitely think that a cnc game belongs on there. I have been playing old cnc games for 7 years and I am still not going to put them away. These are just the old and I am going to love command and conquer tiberian wars 3.
