This game is great. I have had no problems or anything, and I was just wondering if there is an OFFICIAL patch out. I googled it and there were some patches but I wasn't sure if they were official or not.

Anyways, game is great. :D I love it, very nice explosions. If only I could run it better and see it's true graphics. It's graphics are still really good, but some of the screenshots I've seen, and just wow.

Gooeykat

so if yer not haveing problems then why do you need a patch?

Because if you're a pc gamer, you love patches, even if they don't fix anything. Duh

patches fix stuff. that's part of how you define a patch. even if you don't experience real problems what if a patch just gave you a couple more fps? - or fixed a security issue that you had been lucky enough to avoid so far? there must a billion trillion reasons why you'd might like to keep updated. and if you really can't think of any yourself go find one in the changelog.

patching = good

Basically ANY BG2 quote, since the dialoques and monoloques were the best I've ever seen in any game of any kind. At all. Ever. Dudes.

Irenicus as he appears in Candlekeep in a dream, standing amidst petrified peasants:

''Life - is strength.
This is not to be contested; it seeems logical enough: You live, you affect your world.
But is it what *you* need? You are different... Inside.
(Unpetrifies a peasant woman) This woman lives and has strength of a sort.
She lost her parents to plaque, her husband to war, but she persevered.
Her name is respected, her farm has prospered, her children are fed and safe
And now, she is dead'' (Kills peasant woman)

Irenicus in another dream:

(Character appears in another area of Candlekeep) ''You walk as a mortal, taking no advantage from your heritage, from your talents within. So many things of flesh are greater than you. -Walk among them, these beasts that are less than you are. See their strength, see how easily you fall to their muscle and skill. (A demon slays protagonist) Why do you stand for this? Why do you submit to the flesh when death is bred in your bones?! Do you realise the power you *might* hold? When the world of flesh is beneath you, even creatures mysterious and magical will fall!'' (Protagonist destroys a vampire, a demon and an Illithid)

Irenicus, breaking out of Spellhold, while in every way annihilating cowled wizards:

''I cannot be caged! I cannot be controlled! Understand this as you die, ever pathetic, ever fools!''

Minsc:

''Evil, meet my sword! Sword, meet eeeviiiil!!!!''
''The bigger they are, the harder I hit!''
''Go for the eyes Boo, GO FOR THE EYES!! RrraaaAAGHGHH!!!''
Boo: ''squeak''
Minsc: Boo says: "WHAAAT?"

Dradeel (prisoner in Spellhold):

''One has lots of time for recreation while waiting for the ENDLESS WAVES OF BAD DOGGIE WEREWOLF MONSTERS THAT CHEW YOUR TOES WHILE YOU SLEEP!!!!''

And the list of memorable quotes from that series simply goes on....
