No my last one had the original fan. And I do notice I usually get it whilst playing Uncharted 2- but it also happens on Home sometimes and some demos/games. Sometimes it just happens on the XMB randomly too without me doing anything.dragonballkid

As for your comment about UC2 making your fan louder, I wouldnt worry about that. That game eats up a lot of power which is why the fan kicks into a higher gear...happens for most everyone when playing UC2

Also. Don't go fitting a new fan on your ps3, thats one way of voiding your warranty

Personally I have been gaming ALOT more. Trying to get through Dragon Age and DS before AC2 and MW2 come out (no chance unless I stay up till like 6 am for the next couple of nights)

Origins reminds me of WoW gameplay where as DS reminds me of zeldas.

The story line in Origins is pretty sick so far too. So much customization too.

I have both games but currently can't stop playing Origins. As for the graphics, well I don't think they are that bad at all...personal preferance I guess

If you had played both games (Dragon Age on Hard+ difficulty) I dont think you would be saying that, both games are quite difficult.

Not sure why anyone is comparing the 2 games anyways? They aren't really similar AT ALL, in any aspect, aside from the leveling up of your character perhaps. I suggest people enjoy them both.

I decided to go with the poor Elf origin, reminded me of the one scene in Braveheart where the princes or w.e come to claim their "right". As for the class I am a rogue.

Get both Demons souls for PS3 and Dragon age for xb0x or PC, they both look like the most epic rpgs ever but i'll be getting DS first b/c my brother wants dragon age.

Actually if you are going to buy dragon age for console I suggest you DONT buy it for xbox unless you want the inferior version. Pc->PS3->360

Anyways the games could not be more different beside the fact that they are both quite tough. DS is more like a zeldaesque adventure game with RPG elements. Dragon Age on the other hand is kind of like an MMORPG in the sense that you have to tank in fights, aggro stuff to your tanks, kite stuff, set up macros (you will know this if you have played any WOW) for players to heal others or heal themselves. You also have a very large skill tree for every character...

Get both if you can but if you are looking for an RPG with a very good story (so far atleast) and a lot more of an RPG type feel (tanking, kiting, aggroing etc) then I suggest Dragon Age.

Finally got all the kinks worked out. Once the Toronto maple leaf vs Tampa bay lightning game is over I will get my game on for a couple hours straight and let yall know my opinion.

I hate it when you have company over my house and when I let them play my PS3, I go downstairs and I find out that my games are in the wrong cases. It grinds my gears so bad then I end up looking like the picture below.

Like seriously, how hard is it to put the damn game in its correct case? Has this or anything similar ever happened to you?

yeahhhhhhhhh that ish grinds my gears too. Essentially the only person I let touch my ps3 is my younger bro (21).

I just picked it up today but can't be bothered to play it until that dragon blood armor redeem code works. Everytime I try to sign up at the darn site it gives me some bs error message.

Not sure why the dragon blood armor wasnt available right away like the shale DLC?
