I wish i hadn't heard about this. Imagine how shocking it would have been to see during the game :(ryrulez

Yeahhhh I know what you mean. GS once again goes ahead and just flippin puts it RIGHT in the title. Completely ruining it for anyone who wanted to have this as a surprise.

I am just going to have to burn an awful lot of Mary Jane to hopefully forget about this hjahaha

Well, I dont know...

hmmm. One of the more epic moments for me was early on in my ps3 days while playing warhawk. Was playing zones and had the sniper rifle up on this hill. Now I see a guy in a jeep gunning it across one of the bridges towards my base to cap the zone so I zoom in and just as he is about to enter the base I pull the trigger and pop him in the back, he fell out of the jeep which than proceeded to continue on driving without him for a few meters.

Thought it was pretty cool shooting a guy from liek 300+ yards out of a moving jeep :)

[QUOTE="8Tango"] Just tried it, that actually works really well. I made a playlist with some classically stuff Nine Inch Nails (Which actually works damn well) And Johnny Cash strangely resonates well with the game.8Tango

Nice nice! I think it has something to do with the pacing of the music. Paramore is very intense in the sense that it is high pace (might be morebetter suited for like a NGS 2 type game?)where as classical, nine inch nails and johhny cash have a bit of a slower pacethat I think flows well with the gameplay in DS.

The classical music for me just kind of puts me in that medieval mind frame. Which is absolutely perfect because that is what DS reminds me of with all of the full body armour, the swords, bows and that kind of stuff :D

Yep you got it spot on right there, I tried some Bob Dylan... Too fast lol!

Could you imagine some Trance/jungle/house music? LOL

All this demon souls talk has me wanting to go home sick from work for the afternoon to play lol. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***SPOILER***

This scene is obviously going to cause controversy in the media and i'm not sure about it's apropriateness myself. Bring on the GTA examples but this is a completely different type of game. I buy a COD game expecting to 'defeat bad guys' not murder civilians even if it ends up being just a side mission. IDK what are your opinions?

Not sure if this video will stay up but that's the link to the scene

EDIT: correction on 'too' in title from 'to'

raven_squad

In prototype... i would kill hundreds of civilians... not one cared... it just a big name game... like gta 4

Was it your objective? Was it in a realistic setting mimicking real life events? Basically putting you in the shoes of a real situation? You people kind of need to learn the differences between the two... even this kind of violence portrayed in a film is a different story as your not making any decisions, nor partaking in the violence. Normally I'm the biggest advocate for games having free reign to express themselves, but this event made to resemble a real life slaughter of civilians is distatsteful just so Activision/Infinity Ward can push the video game communities buttons. If you ask me, they're the ones that need to grow up, not the media.

I think you need to realise that this is a game.

Also, what is the mans objective in this mission? From what it sounds like to me he has infiltrated a terrorist group and that is the reason you are playing this mission. If you don't go through with it supposedly your cover is blown and who knows, maybe because of your cover getting blown you end up being the reason the world is taken over by crazy extremists. Which would eventually result in the deaths of MILLIONS of civilions, instead of a couple hundred.

I have a question, what would you people reccomend as some good music to listen to while playing this. I almost listened to Paramore but I couldn't stop laughing at how hillariously bad the lead singer looks. NERGHHH!

8Tango

Ill be completely honest here with you...When playing I turn the surround sound on and the cable to the TV on and put it on one of those galaxy radio stations. The station that I enjoy most while playing this game is the Masterworks one (where they play all the classical music). I love blasting my face off with my volcano for like an hour and then playing some DS to some great classical music. I just find that the music glows so well with the surroundings in DS.

kind of caught on with me too...not really a trophy whoa in the sense that I will go rent video games just to boost up my trophy collection. Ionly buy games that I want to play. Now once I get that game I will take a look at the trophy list and I will make an attempt through out the game to get as many as I can. I won't go out of my way to do silly ones like "collect all the intel in the game" or that kind of garbage though.

That little sound I get when I am awarded a trophy is like a mini orgasm for my ears (joking...I do like the sound though, just not to that extent).

Nothing you would get off of his corpse would be very useful to you, and you would be removing your way to learn some of the most powerful spells in the game. I definitely don't recommend killing him yet.

[QUOTE="JoKeR_421"]can anyone tell me where to find the key to save rydell?JoKeR_421

Top of the first tower in 3-2, pure white world tendency.

thanks both u kapg too... ONE thing, how how do i know if im dark or white tendency? is the character ( me) which is surrounded by the stones? is he suppose ot be white or dark? now i know im suppose to defeat enemies or help other players defeat enemies to get white, but i have never seen it go white lol

Go to the World tendancy/Character Tendancy screen when you hit start.

You can tell what your Character Tendancy is by looking at the statue in the middle (like you said, your character is the statue surrounded by the world stones) . Black would mean that your statue is a very dark dark colour, neutral and it would be kind of greyish and if you are white its like a bright white light in your chest.

I don't have my buddies guide with me right now, so I cant really explain how to change your CT, but if you want to change your WT to white you can do so by killing the bosses. The easiest way for it to turn black (that I know of) is to die in body form lol.
