I got the same thing happening to me but I just shut off my playstation then turned it back on again and the Playstation Store worked fine.

The 3DS lineup crushes the NGP. Although I do understand it doesn't come out till much later.

But still here is a perfect example and I am just going to use the fighter genre as the example:

NGP: 1) BlazBlu

2) Reality Fighters

3DS: 1) Street Fighter IV

2) Blazblu

And this trend seems to go with a lot of the other games. It seems like the NGP's lineup is second to what the 3DS has in store. Take that as either the best game on the NGP is lower on the 3DS's scale or that the best game on the NGP is also being released on the 3DS.

I will say this though, I won't be getting the first gen NGP, but probably the second gen, the 3DS will keep me occupied and by then the NGP won't be $500.
