I just saw a review on GS for the game Persona 3 and I must say, the new layouts for the gamespaces are just becoming way to complicated and cluttered. The thing that bugs me the most are the game emblems. Is that really necessary? I understand the purpose of the Good/Bad sections as those are really helpful if you don't have time to read the whole review however having emblems for it?? It defeats the whole purpose of having the Good/Bad sections. Stupid really. Then the new user stat section is just dumb as well. It's hard to find anything. My friend asked me about a week ago where the review button was for the games. It actually took me a while to find it... That's sad when someone who has been here for over 2 years and has written over 50 reviews has to look around for the button. The best layout they had was when the review, tag buttons were right under the GS score (which wasn't massively oversized :P) and the GS, User, and Other people scores were to the right side on the top. It was simple and only took a second to see everything you could want to see. Then the review was conveniently right underneath it. Maybe it's just me but all these changes to the format are really getting on my nerves. Well, that's enough of that rant...
I just beat X-men Legends 2 for the Xbox and I'll write up a full review on it later (irony abounds...). Pretty good game, better than the first one but the ending is pretty anti-climactic. It is nice to play some stuff on the X-men as they are one of my favorite comic characters. I'm getting a computer program that has 40 years of X-men comics from the first issue to August 2005. I'm pretty excited. Can't wait till it gets here. Anyway, starting on Marvel: Ultimate Alliance which is pretty cool so far. I just wish they would have some kind of character bio pages for the game since some of the characters are pretty obscure and it would be nice to know what their abilities were and a background. Anyway, hope you're all doin well. peace everyone!
