Ok so my internet was fixed last night. Turns out the entire floors router switch was busted and the guy came this morning to fix it. I'm so happy about that, i can actually stay on IM without having to sign back in every half hour :P. Also, I can actually blog without having to worry about all my stuff getting deleted. Ok so, the last few days for me. On friday, i got a call from the RTA people (if you remember from way back then, i applied to be an RTA) and I did not get the job :'(. As you can probably guess, i was really depressed because I had put everything into getting that job. As if to slap me in the face even further, after that, my gf and I already promised another girl that we would see He's Just Not That Into You. I'd give a more in-depth review but i wasn't paying very close attention. It's a little more depressing than most people thought it would be but I think my gf and her friend liked it. For the guys, it did have it's funny moments but most of it seemed just cheezy. Justin Long's in it though and he's pretty awesome. Badass pub owner who sleeps with tons of people lol.

Then Saturday came which still forbade me from wallowing in my failure because one of my gf's friends from MSU was coming over and we were all staying overnight in a hotel. Okay... first of all, by any person's reckoning, this sounds like a horrible idea. I'm depressed about something and haven't really gotten any time to myself and now I have to spend time with one of my gf's guy friends who has a HUGE crush on her and doesn't hide it at all. As if that weren't awkward enough, we were staying in a hotel together??? Of course, my gf says "well, you don't have to come if you don't want to". I don't think that even deserves commentary lol. But I end up going and it was actually hella fun and I'm glad for it. The most obvious benefit was that he uses a DC channel over at MSU and has TONS of music and movies and stuff which he brought over on an external hard drive. So we took turns downloading tons of stuff off the harddrive so i almost doubled my music collection lol. All in all, it just felt very chill and I was happy for it. Sunday was filled to the brim with homework but i got to play a little Witcher and finally finished chapter 1 (it's taking me a while cuz i'm trying to do every quest) Yesterday was my day back to classes and was when i had to tell everyone that i didn't get the job. Also, as if to humiliate me further, I had to actually go to the RTA office and ask them for help with the internet (since it was the routers problem, i couldn't do anything myself). I was 'helped' by one of the guys who interviewed me and the guy who actually got the job. They told me that the router was getting fixed tomorrow (this morning) but it was just overall a very humiliating event. Finally, I spent the remainder of the day playing Witcher and here I am today.

Oh and I just realized i should probably explain the gf. So yeah, she came back to me later and we decided to stay together through the semester until she transfers next year. I don't really want to date anyone else anyway so i was fine with it.

So, gaming-wise, i haven't been doing much but play The Witcher, which i LOVE! It's a great game and should be bought by any RPG fan. The only criticism i really have for it is that if you want to do all the sidequests, the pacing for the story is horrendous. Fortunately, most of the side-quests actually have a pretty good story for themselves and tie into the overall plot pretty well so it's not really all that bad at all. I'll make sure to have a raving review ready by the time I finish it. Okay, well peace everyone! Thanks for reading!
