Town: Mexico (I'm planning a vacation, and Cozumel was on my mind)
Name: Kameron
Hope to find out what this game is all about by getting out of my podunk town.
The villagers are all quite sick of me.

[QUOTE="Kdavis82"]Put socks on his hands and make him block. All day. I'm just glad he's playing in Dallas and not in Houston. I'll take an inexperienced Andre Johnson and a geriatric Eric Moulds over that chump any day, even if it translates to losses. Espurs117
Well then you must be happy that the Texans win 5 games every year.
For all the upheaval and conflict TO has caused, he has yet to get a ring. When an athlete of his caliber has such questionable character, it is a tremendous waste. Where are all the Dallas fans that were crying all over the news when TO walked into the middle of that blue star? What happened to all of the Dallas fans who were calling TO disrespectful and out of control?
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I believe you can build a winner without putting the integrity of your entire organization on the line. Because of the nature of pro sports, no team is going to be comprised of choir boys, and Dallas has clearly embraced that over their history. My point is, TO is a great athlete, but he's a terrible employee. I would rather employ a salesman who busts ass and gets consistently good numbers, than a salesman who comes to work when he wants, sells when he wants, and shows flashes of brilliance when he DECIDES to work. TO was born with the potential to be the greatest receiver of all time, but he will never be regarded as such, and it is no one's fault but his own.
[QUOTE="Espurs117"][QUOTE="xyoojguy"]How are the Texans in there??axel360
Their stadium is worth alot.
Yeah without the stadium, they wouldn't be worth anymore than the Jaguars. This is garbage. Bob McNair knows money. The stadium definately has an impact, but revenue since the teams inception has been pretty astounding. Corporate sponsorship is huge. (Coca-Cola, Anheuser Busch, Miller, Verizon) Not to mention they keep asses in the seats. Even last year, a good ticket to a Texans game was hard to come by.
"But McNair didn't make his billions by being stupid. Among other things, Houston has the second most Fortune 500 headquarters in the U.S., which has enabled the Texans to rake in a fortune from corporate sponsors. The team's $300 million, 30-year stadium naming rights deal with Reliant Energy is just one example." -Forbes
A few more thoughts:
If it's all about the yard, why isn't Seattle on this list? Qwest aint no Cracker Jack box.
Also, if the Jags hadn't been in such a hurry to build that heap, the end result might have been a better stadium.
[QUOTE="Kdavis82"]Yeah, I gotta go with Deion on the field...but Irvin on the radio. Anyone else listen to Dan Patrick? I swear, if Reggie Miller, Michael Irvin, and Charles Barkley wrote a book together, literacy in this country would drop 20%.wallymartin
Hell, I'd read that book. That'd be soome classic literature right there.
Classic? Yes Literature? *criiiinge*
