The only good thing that came from XBL ads was when I kept seeing the Sons of Anarchy advertisement when GTA: The Lost and Damned released.

After awhile I got so tired of seeing the ad I decided to watch the show. Love it, probably my favorite show ever..

I even tried playing Madden one time ... No idea what was going on, im pretty sure it's about tryign to sell Gatorade though, or something along those lines.

I'm not condoning because like you, I thought it was laughable that I had to call.

It takes 5 minutes tops though, and most of that is just going through the "Press 1,2,3,4,5 to go here. Now press 1,2,4,5 to go here" After that you just give them your gamertag and tell them you want to turn off auto-renewal.

Over 300 posts which contain nothing but "I pay $60 for Xbox Live so I can part chat!" as opposed to just conference calling on your cell phone but hey, let's spend more money to do something we can already do.

The other half is about being hacked and how Xbox Live is so secure.

Why is the latter even being entertained? Everyone over the age of 12 knows anything and anyone can get hacked if someone really wanted too.

You pay $60 for lag and to play games you already paid for. (Before anyone says anything, yes, you do get lag. It may not be Gears of War 2 bad but it's there enough to impact the game)

I'm a Live member but it's not worth it at all and I didn't even pay full price. I think I paid around $35 for it awhile back when Microsoft was running a promotion.

Master Cheif. IMO, he stands as the icon that ushered in the casual gaming craze that started with everyone in the world who didnt play video games, getting into them with their xbox and ps2s last gen, and now dominating the world with the most casual FPS, COD. And when Halo came out, quake and unreal touny died and halo/COD are casual FPS. regenerating life bar rewards people for cowering in the corner. end of discussion.da_chub

Why do people have this misconception about the word personality?

Just because MC is silent for the majority of the game doesn't mean he doesn't have a personality. Being silent is his personality. Is it a good one? That's up to you to decide. Not everyone needs to be in your face like Snow from Final Fantasy or Rico from Killzone.

Funny though, Master Chief gets so much hate but Gordon Freeman gets so much praise. They're almost identical, only one wears a motorcycle helmet while the other doesn't.

Why on earth are people so into these HD remakes.

We've alreayd played these games. Why do you want the exact same thing? Better a sequel or a new franchise, new style of gameplay, new take on an old franchise.

Give me the classics remade. I would go play Socom II on my PS2 but only 100 people play it, if it re-released, it would have more people playing it.
