Oh, what a wonderful morning... I didn't had school today, so I woke up at 10:00 AM. Ate my breakfast, brushed my teeth and came here at GameSpot. In the headlines I saw about the creation of the Starfire Studios.
I didn't had any idea of what it was about, so I checked out. The Starfire Studios is a new company, but it's not just that. The company was created by four teamed up ex-Rareware developers. The team consists of programmer Mark Edmonds, designer Chris Tilston, and artists Ross Bury and Phil Dunne, who have collectively previously worked on the Killer Instinct franchise, the Perfect Dark franchise, and the Halo franchise.
For me it wasn't just a new company of games. It's much more than that, it's a new hope. A new hope for those who want the old Rare back. The that Rare from Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye 007 and not the Rare from Kinect Sports.
Maybe this team still have that old and feeble flame Rare used to have, and I hope they can make this flame strong again.
I don't know what kind of game they are going to do, or if they are going to buy the rights of some of the Rare games, like Banjo-Kazooie, but only if they can make me feel the feeling I had when I played some many c|assics of Rare, I'll be happy as I used to when play my good and old Nintendo 64.
That's it, at least for now, thank you for your time,
KenshinHimura64.
