Doesn't anyone think that Mass Effect is rated exactly as it should be? This game is ambitious, fun, and well presented. Overall it's high ratings far beats anyone who has complaints against it, which I think is accurate. I don't think this game is over or underrated. I think it's rated just as it should be. A kick@$$ game with a few goofs and limitations.

On a side note - it aggrivates the hell out of me when people compare this game to Oblivion. The only thing the two share is that they are RPG's. I am in the minority of people who don't think Oblivion was all that, it most certainly had it's share of bugs and the character's appearance and movement was almost enough to entirely RUIN that game for me.

My initial response would be Mass Effect, but that's probably unfair, since I haven't yet played the game. However, most of the reviews I've read make it sound wonderful, and it's a type of game that I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for. I've played Oblivion, and while it does seem to feel like it's marketed specifically to a bunch of dungeons & dragons / magic the gathering nerds, it's still fun to play (I am one of those nerds, by the way). Surprisingly (to myself even) I haven't really enjoyed assassn's creed all that much. I'm one of those gamers that get's annoyed by the pesky little things, i.e. when you shove a knife through a guards spine who is standing 2 feet away from another character that is facing him, and the other character starts screaming out "who did that? what happened? where are you?". LAME.
