IMO I don't think the learning curve should be the focal point when this is a completely new series with a completely new fighting style. I played the test punch for one hour and felt comfortable playing with only the motion controls, but know that with more time I will flesh out more tiny details and nuances in the game play to "get good" as it were. The game is fun as hell so far and I see it as a good place-holder to play with friends until the next Smash Bros comes out.
@Xylymphydyte: What in god's green beautiful Earth are you talking about? The maps still rotate (which they always did) but now more frequently (meaning more often) they used to rotate every 4 hours, now they rotate every 2 hours, that's more frequently you mush brain.
I haven't played yet because I'm waiting for the Switch version, but I just can't for the life of me understand why they wouldn't make the camera controllable with the right thumb-stick.
@Iemander: Because America is the only country people play video games in, right? Street Fighter 2 is absolutely one of the most influential games ever and stemmed a giant franchise including games like Marvel vs Capcom 2 (still one of the most valuable and sought after games for PS2). Oh and arcades are still huge in Japan brother.
@greekarc8: Best thing I've found yet is attacking with a fire weapon, creating an updraft, sail straight up and bullet time arrows to their face. Makes pretty quick work of Lynel (also any of the stalfos) especially if you have any of the tri-shot bows and an attack buff elixir.
