Sony don´t put much money in marketing because Sony has money problems, but they have more players and buyers which means gaming company promo more PS4 version meanwhile Xbox One, Microsoft has less players but too much money and no matter how much money they put in marketing, PS4 version outsells Xbox One version.
They're (Microsoft) not even allowed to market the game. Sony has exclusive marketing rights.
You people do know that last gen and current gen Destiny can't be played "together" right? You can't play it on PS3 with people who're playing on PS4, and same with xbox. Not sure if it'll even be the same account (ie. characters), so I don't know why you would want the game for both.
the gameplay is pretty mediocre and generic, you feel like it's a chore to play through the game just to see what happens next in the story, and you could just watch a movie or TV show with the same thing which will most likely have a better plot/story, characters, acting, etc.?
The only game where I couldn't be bothered to actually play, when I was interested enough in the story, was Hitman. I just watched a 1.5 hour movie of all the cutscenes and gameplay dialogue on youtube. Otherwise, I'm not normally that bothered by gameplay for the games I actually care about the story for. Some games I've given up completely cus there was neither story, nor gameplay to keep me interested. I probably finish 95% of the games I play though.
CoughCraigslistCough... Or otherwise 2nd hand. There's actually a lot of people who need to sell things like that for one reason or another. You might be surprised by what you can find.
I only play "new games" that I've really been waiting a long time for, or am just too excited about. Otherwise I wait for them all to get cheaper. Down to $30 or less. Usually less. I collect games and never sell or return them, and I'm a cheap ass, so gotta save as much money as I can. I used to buy them all knew, but then found a lot just sit on my shelf and I don't end up playing them til they're in the $15 bin anyway.
@wiouds: Eeeeeh. I guess you have a point. I never look at it that way. See, explanations are better than just going - "No. I'm right you're wrong. Nanananabooboo."
I just see it as there being a ton of people online that I can play with at anytime. But whatever, I'll concede.
@Black_Knight_00: I love you. That game is so damn awesome.
@wiouds: Do you know how many people play COD? Do you think any of them actually care about the campaign?
World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Planetside 2, Guild Wars are the ones that pop into mind. COD isn't an mmo...
MMO = Massive Multiplayer Online... He never said MMORPG. Therefore, yes, COD counts.
