There's no need to buy "points". Everything is charged directly to your credit card and the prices are in dollars.

I can say that I've never had any problems with my PS3 and I haven't heard much about problems from other people on the forums here. Of course, there are always a few bad apples in every basket, but overall, the PS3 seems to be well built.

When you go to create a PSN account, it will take your credit card info and save it to memory for when you make purchases from the Playstation Store. When you purchase stuff from the store, its automatically downloaded to your hdd, using your purchasing information that you entered when you created the account. If you shared your PS3, you can create multiple accounts, if you don't want other people buying stuff off of your credit card.

It is a fact that FF11 is playable between PS3, PS2, Xbox 360 and PC. I played that game for 3 years and I'd meet people all the time while playing the PS2 version, who were on the PC. Later on, when the game was released for 360, I met people from that console as well. While there is no PS3 version of the game, it is playable with a download and you'd have to install the PS2 version of the game onto your PS3 hdd. Don't count on any games being cross-platform other than mmo games.

I've been playing on a SDTV and it sucks, knowing that these games would look so much better if I had a HDTV, but its not the end of the world. If I can ever save up enough money for one, then I'd get a HDTV, but for now, I'm too busy enjoying Oblivion to care much.

Well, do most rpgs you play bore you? Do you like Grand Theft Auto? Many have described this game as a medieval Grand Theft Auto, with a huge world to explore and the ability to do basically whatever you want, when you want. You can make your character fight with weapons, spells, snipe from the shadows, or do everything. There are no limits to what you can do.

I'm playing Oblivion on my PS3. I love rpgs, and this game has me absolutely hooked! There's so much to do and see and after over 130 hours, there's still so much to do, and that's without Shivering Isles and all of the other bonus content found on the pc and 360 versions. I also have Resistance, which I bought with my PS3 and I had a blast playing that game too. Its always fun being a one man army, taking down waves of enemies and living to tell about it. I just need to play Resistance online, but I've been so busy with Oblivion to play anything else.

Its supposed to be out sometime before the end of the year. I've got over 130 hours into the game and there's still a ton of stuff that I want to do before I start working on the new content.

Oblivion isn't just a sword fighting game. You don't even have to use swords at all if you don't want. You create your character and start out on an epic adventure to save the world from chaos, and you can do everything at your own pace. The world is huge and you'll easily take a few months at least to do everything. You explore, do quests, build your character up to be a one man army, make your own magic spells, and all sorts of fun stuff.

How many hours do you have on Oblivion?  Even if you finish the main quest, the game should occupy you for months to a year.
