Remember to use the "Just Scan" picture mode and to also optimize your picture settings.DaGamingGodgot that, the pc looks 1000x better, although i still need to mess with all my picture settings. Whats a good game to see my TV at its best?

okay not garbage but somethings not right here.
Tonight i bought the Samsung Touch of Color 46" (the low[er] end one, normal thickness)
The TV's at best buy show 1080i picture with factory settings, so naturally, 1080p with factory settings (or even your own settings) will look significantly better?
heres the thing though: I get it home, plug in my xbox 360 (hdmi, 1080p output) and turn on call of duty 4. SERIOUS JAGGIES. The 120Hz looks great and the color looks great, but it looks as though its being stretched when it isnt... its at native resolution.
NOW, i'm typing this on my macbook pro, connected to the TV (mini display port to dvi, dvi to hdmi) and it looks even worse, a computer displaying at 1920x1080 should look amazing and yet it has tons of jaggies too, the text i'm typing now looks like i'm on an SDTV.
Anyone who could help me out, it would be seriously appreciated.
EDIT: I'm sure anyone who could actually help knows what i'm talking about... but just to be more specific- the picture i'm looking at right now looks like a JPEG, when it should look like a PNG.
it's not a hardware problem??

Nope, if it was a hardware problem it would be happening with everything, this is only with steam games.
Well, it can't really be a hardware issue since this only happens with Source games. I honestly don't know, when did you first notice this? Have you recently installed any new software? Try reinstalling your sound drivers, although I doubt that'll help. The PC hardware forums might be able to help you even though this sounds like a software issue.BlueBirdTS
ya... idk... i'm hoping i get some more responses here. It just stopped working, i dont know, it was a few weeks ago but i ignored it thinking it would come back next time i shut down but it never did.
