Well the longest lifespan for a console on the market has to be the Atari 2600. It was released in October 1977 and discontinued on January 1st 1992. Though people are still making homebrews for the system. Check out Halo 2600. But if you are talking about durability I would say its the Magnavox Odyssey. It was released in August 1972 and I have one that still works perfectly today after 38 years. If you are talking about the sytems that have games that are still fun to play today, well then thats really a matter of personal opinion. I love some Atari 2600 games and NES games and so on but heck I still like playing pong sometimes so it varies depending on your preference.
