Editorial: Used Games - Cheap Games
by KingKisuke on Comments
You may not now it, but there are probably a lot of great games that you missed. No, they're not 60 dollars. Most are pretty cheap compared to new games. These are called Used Games. People will buy new games and trade them back into a store for money when they're tired of the game. These prices could range by dozens, but many used copies of games are in good condition and practically the same as a new copy. One of the best shops to buy used games is GameStop. They offer year-old games for cheap prices.
Not too long ago, I purchased a used copy of The Darkness on Xbox 360 at GameStop for about 13 dollars. The game was released in summer 2007 with an average critic score of 8.3 out of 10 based off of 82 reviews. I enjoyed the game as well. This is just one of many possible examples of what good games to can buy for cheap prices. If there's a game in particular that you're looking for, you can simply go on the GameStop website (www.gamestop.com) and search for your game to find an estimated price (I've noticed that prices tend to vary with the same games). Be sure to call your local GameStop (you can find the store's phone number when you enter the store locator at the top right of the website) before you use your gas to get there. The store may not have it. For example, I called a couple months ago to see if they still sold Stubbs the Zombie, which they thankfully told me that they didn't.
So, never forget about used games when you're looking for something new. You never know what great deals you'll make!
