I'm all for another Metal Gear game. However, I don't think Johnny would make a good main character. This is the guy who was crapping in an oil drum and had limited combat skill remember? Radien wouldn't be a wise choice either since he is not well liked by the fans and his story ended with the reuniting of his family. The new character would probably have to be someone either completely new or a rehashed "clone".
Some of us (me) do play online but get our assess handed to us by 12 year olds cause we're no good. Then we turn it off after screaming obcsenities at the television.
A build-up of dust on the button/sensor on the console may be the problem. Or maybe it doesn't want to turn off yet. Ask it nicely if it would mind shutting down for the night.
In my past experiences with Pelican, I have had horible luck. I had a Pelican PS1 memory card that lost my save of FF7 along with others, an N64 memory upgrade and power supply that would over heat and freeze my system, and now a Wii controler charging station that smells like it is going to burn down my house when I use it.
