Was assassin's creed for PS3 reviewed wi... And/or superwhite enabled in the video settings?
I've asked this before, in general, about PS3 reviews.. But since the A.C. reviewer specifically states that the PS3 version looks less contrasted, I'm curious what settings the reviewer had. Enabling Full RGB should improve contrast, and AFAIK it defaults to "off". Kevin can you check what you used?

It's our general policy to play a game as a standard user would, on the PS3's default settings. Indeed, I played Assassin's Creed on deafult settings, which means full RGB was not enabled. S0lidSnake
This is one thing that bothers me, this kind of information should be brought forward in the review, if there's a simple fix to the "issue" like the one you have quoted or the difficulty in Uncharted it should be stated. It really ***** bothers me that they seem incapable of providing complete information .
I can see this post ending the life of this short lived GS account, but alas...GS reviews, both scores and text are trash....it has been a continuous downhill slide for quite some time now. Want somewhere else to go? Here's your list! Thanks to metacritic!

8.0 could be a fine score, but the text review is trash, it is the most convoluted and confusing review posted here. It gives no explantion on the actual score, and provides very little detail on the game istelf...

There is no reason for the score, not according to my play time with it, and not according to GS review...PS check out the Megathread sticky for more.
It seems to me that the people who are frustrated with GS are those that use this site more often than any other? GS isn't the only gaming site out there. I am sure there are many sites that are neutral or fair with their game reviews. If you felt cheated, betrayed, or disappointed with the Uncharted review, then maybe it's best to move on? The issue is that GS is usually considered one of the BIG THREE along with IGN and 1UP. I know alot of hardcore gamers are changing their mind about GS but that's a select few, I assure you people will have missed out on this game and R&C because of GS reviews, and that's not fair to Insomniac, ND or the customers.
I must say this is the best thread ever. I am loving every minute of it. But on a more serious note they can't take their review back or can they? If they really believe this score is right, I DEMAND THE REVIEWER TO COME AND DEFEND HIMSELF ON THIS THREAD!

They can according to their "standards", it's posted somewhere, but I don't think it's ever happened. And if it didn't happen for R&C it's not going to happen here.
