Well, I was wondering what the community here at Gamespot was thinking about this. Guitar Hero has of course revolutionized the Music-Game genre, but my honest opinion is that it has always been a mediocre game series, and deserves the shutdown (Atleast after the horrible last few games). This does also affect the PS3, but I desided to put this here, just to get one honest opinion instead of a cluster of fanboys spamming about their favourite console.

So what do you think?

Did it deserve it, or do you believe it should have been allowed a couple more years?

There will be a bunch of new franchises.

Trial and error, trial and error, trial and error. AKA Demon's Souls.

There is trial and error in every single game that you can die in.

Demon Souls was HARD, but if you can just skip the hard parts and never die in a game, then the game would be way to easy.

I don't want them to look too real.

For some reason I just don't want the Graphical side of games to evolve further.
