Crysis.

SMG was a bastard version of M64 with all the difficulty removed and replaced with fancy graphical effects so people who fail at gaming could still win and think they accomplished something - the typical Wii gamer.

UT3 was a bastard version of UT* designed to run on consoles for kiddies that aren't allowed to touch daddy's computer. Keep reminding yourself that you're still as good as a PC gamer with a mouse, becuase the rest of us will just laugh at you.

Halo 3 was the typical Halo - only loved by gamers that aren't allowed to play PC games, or don't have the money to run them well. How a series was born from a final memory that was the Halo 1 library level is beyond me.

Portal was awesome, but not well-rounded enough awesome to beat Crysis. Somewhere between the tutorial and the ending there was supposed to be more, you know, game.

BioShock was awesome, but not nearly the cinematic experience that was Crysis. BioShock made attempts to do the whole HalfLife-esque cinematic event thing on the first level, then decided that was too much work and that was the last level that had them.

Mass Effect, dunno - not played it. Review scores don't point to it being Game of the Year, but maybe that's just because the check to Gamespot bounced.

I assume Josh would know.

Gamespot was one of the more objective review sites out there, which is why I visit to get reviews of new games. Apparently, you've decided that you'd rather sell out. Are you going to continue down this road of becoming like all the review sites people don't visit because they're just spam paid for by the publishers, or are you going to clean house of the idiot management that led to this and shape up?
