[QUOTE="Kristin"]You can insist on new, shrink wrapped copies of games from then. When I have to buy a game from GameStop that's what I do. I wont take a gutted copy, I require a new, still in shrink wrap. LordAndrew

That's what I do. I make sure that I ask for a new copy.

If they don't have a new copy and I know I can get a new copy elsewhere, I don't buy it. I'll go elsewhere; or if they have a used copy in like-new condition, I'll buy that. It's pretty much the same thing, but it's cheaper.

The only problem that I have with buying a used game is the developer doesn't see a DIME of that resale. It's 100% profit for GameStop. As GameStop doesn't make games and just sell them, I'd rather the developer got my money so they could continue to make awesome games. I'd rather give the little guys making stuff I enjoy my money, rather than a corporate suit.

No one wants to spend more than they need to for things, when the US dollar is weak, people that have currency in US Dollars end up paying more for goods that are produced overseas than they do when the dollar is strong.

And I like going to canada or mexico and getting more play money than real money. :)

I actually love my zune a lot more than my ipod. The interface is completely different though than that of itunes so there is a learning curve if you come over from the apple software. I really enjoy the social media aspect where you can have a friends list and see what they're playing and what they're favs are.

I like the screen better on the Zune as well as the battery life. My iPod tended to die pretty qickly (granted it is old) while my zune lasted me a good 4-5 hours on a flight to russia once. Oh, and the wireless sending on the zune's is awesome too. I can beam songs to my friends and vice versa. And the ability to listen to radio stations is a nice perk over the ipod also.

I'm not too sure if just performing all the time works; i watched the DVD of Muse at Wembley and matt bellamy was still pooping his pants before going on. :PNinja-Hippo

It doesn't get you over it, it just teaches you how your body is going to react with those nerves and how to handle them. I still shake like a leaf before the camera turns on and I've been infront of the camera in one aspect or another my entire life!

Just keep performing.

That's the best way to do it - you'll never get rid of it 100%, but you'll learn how to handle the nerves though and be able to put them down enough to play.

Pretty soon after you perform enough times you'll forget about the nerves and the stage fright will go away.

Or turn the stage lights up so you can't see the audience. That always helps to make you think there's no one out there. :)
