As a thus far happy PS3 owner; this is my take on the article... not that anyone could really give a rat's ass about my take but here it is anyway. 1. Improve Developer Support to Secure More Exclusives They're starting to do this already. 2. Fix Online Fundamentals Before Going Home I don't agree with the tone or anything else mentioned here but I do agree with the main statement. 3. Standardize Online Features for Multiplayer Games I agree. 4. Reconsider the Price This is not financially feasible for Sony... they're already loosing $200 and I'd rather pay the $600 than loose any of its features in order to offset the price. I don't agree. 5. Fix Web Browsing and Media Management Totally agree with everything mentioned here! I would very much like to see folders for my music, videos, and photos (they already have folders for the photos but they're automatically set up for you by date... you can't make your own... you have no control. Current method = pretty much worthless.) Web browser fix is a must have. When I got my ps3 I had the intention of using the browser to look for walkthroughs and refresh forums occasionally between gaming sessions bla bla bla so on and so forth... as it stands currently I still prefer getting up, walking to my computer in my room, and using it instead.... but I suppose I'd never get any exercise if they fixed that! :P Current web browser = [almost] worthless. 6. Make Accomplishments Matter I agree. Some interesting ideas mentioned here. 7. Change the Way We Play Games They already do this... kinda sorta... no more and no less than any of their competitors though. So I guess I agree slightly. 8. Experiment With Content Delivery Nearly all of the things mentioned are already being planned for home. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145720 9. Provide Solid Hardware and Product Support They already do this! and I must say a million times better than Microsoft at the moment! 10. Start Releasing Good News I agree with much of what is said here! Home, Little Big World, and Playstation Edge is definitely one hell of a good start though! Overall some very good points are made throughout MOST of the article. Others are just plain absurd and show a couple of the editors' bias and complete lack of knowledge about the PS3. Those other editors I speak of I believe can be summed up perfectly by chamber25's comment: "I think you guys get more and more ridiculous as more and more microsoft ads go up." haha!
