I am in the process of selling my copy really only because i pretty much played the whole game only to have my PS3 brick and lose all my data so not really motivated to start over. Patches hardly ever fix all the problems, i just find it interesting how things vary between people. Its the same game that everyone gets so how can you not all have the same problems? Does not make sense
from what i have seen i have heard the story mode is not bad but career mode is just lame like the last one. I dont have personl experience to give though, i have always hated the stupid minigames as they make them so difficult or boring most of the time thats where they should spend more time.
sounds about right to me, make sure you back up your HDD though before you send it in, i know you have to send it without but best to be safe with all your saves and such. That sucks my 60GB bit the dust in November luckily i had a fat 80gb too now just waiting for a deal on a ps3 that i like to come my way hopefully by summer
have you played the demo for both, i would reccomend that God of War is awesome but its god of war, darksiders was fun but i am waiting for a good price i still think 19$ is too much but for 10$ I would take a look tough at a blockbuster though can only imagine what the quality would look like even though its tough to scratch a blu ray
I have not seen a dragon age ultimate edition for less than 43$ except on ebay personally but i dont look at too many sites other than the ones i really trust. Oblivion is like 19.99 and that comes with all the expansions, you will not find a 6$ RPG unless it came out in the first year and that would be a stretch. Thanks for the suggestions. I've been thinking bout Dragon Age, but am lookin to find a cheap price for the one that is bundled with the expansion. Basically I wanted to get an older one because if I can't get into it, I only spent 6 bucks.

[QUOTE="NerdyDonut"]I do a fair bit of research before deciding whether or not to buy a game. I watch videos, look at review scores and check forums. I find forums useful when deciding on purchasing a game because the comments in the forums are of average gamers, not journalists. Enid_Green
Heh, I'd trust a journalist over a forum. Everyone gets such radical opinions about games, without a lot of thought as to why a game is good or bad.
Really you would trust one journalist or maybe a couple over 100s of actual gamers? I do a fair amount of research look at videos, ask other people their thoughts and even read a lot of gamer reviews. I have made the mistake too many times of using prior experience with a great game only to be dissapointed in the remake too so i am cautious nowyou really need to decide what kind of RPG you will rather play first, ones like Final fantasy where its kind of like a turn based attack which i cannot really stand all that much anymore its just too slow for me, or demon souls oblivion, fallout type where its pretty much constant action. Once you know what style you will favor more then decide where to go from there. Nothing wrong with turn based its can be complex and detailed my last one was xenosaga though!they are both great becuase they are usually worth the money from how much you can do, try oblivion its fairly cheap for GOTY and a great game IMO
