As many has said before. It is not one game or a serie of games that made the PS 2 so great. I belive it was the PS 2 itself that did it. It was a new consol with promises of great gfx and gameplay to come. People just had to see it to belive it back then :P

I have had my playstation 2 for years now and never had a problem with my controlls.
The PS 2 Dual Shock is a long lasting controll. I belive the reason why they break is becouse some just arn't mature enough to take care for the tings they own. All tings break at one point, but sure they break faster if you just throw them around and stuff.

My PS 2 and controllers have lastet several years. I bought the PS 2 when it came out and I still have it 100 % working.

It is just a question on how you treat you tings.

Hmm, hard to tell what was the first game, but I belive it was one for the Atari consol. Very sure of that.

I am not even sure what was the first game I completed for the PS 2. So many games has been played thru I don't remember what it was. Question is like: Do you remember when you was born? No way

Just wonder why do this? I have the old big PS 2 and the slim one, but it is the slim one I am afraid should break if it falls down and hit the floor. I can just imagine how fragile such an small consol will be.

Not getting me to buy that one, nor do I need 3 PS 2 consols either. Don't know what I am doing with 2 either, but bether to have one in backup just in case one stops to function.

I just say, listen to all those who love the PS 2 and get one.

It is a great consol and with a huge game libary that makes you go crazy banana. Since it let's you use the good old PS 1 games it gives you more to choose among when it comes to good old games.

Ohh, there is so many good games on the PS 1. Pitty that I will never manage to play thru all the games I want to, just to many of em :)

It is no doubt a good game but ive been playing about twenty hours and im starting to get bored the story is not very exciting so im thinking of stopping soon

Game_boy_5

I do agree with this. The story could have been bether. I stopped playing it after 30+ houers becouse I didn't get that greatness feeling that FF X gave me. Just hope FF XIII has a story that really gets you glued to the screen,

Well, I have tried, but when you start playing a game you really like you will have big trouble taking a break every 45 min of gameplay. I myself have played a game over 10 houers strait and trust me when I say that when you are having a good time playing you don't notice how much time have passed unless you save often and there is a clock that tells you how long you have played.

But I do not recommend playing for houers without taking 15 min of fresh air. I have gotten very ill by playing too long so there is a reason there is a warning with the games.

A third AvP would be the best of the best. There is no game I have found that have scared me as much as AvP have. Could feel my heart beating all the way, hehe

I see some say F.E.A.R is scary, well that game almost made me sleep. An great game, but not on my scary list, hehe

Have played way to many games and tried most of what is out there, but none as scary as AvP.
Only game I can remember that scared me back to stoneage was Men In Black

Was sitting way to close to the screen and speakers when my friend played it and at a cutscene a alien guy jumped out from some garbage cans. The sound extremly high and it was for sure nothing I expected to happend. Just scared the saint out of me and I remember it as it was yesterday.  My friends won't let me forget that, haha
