Thanks for the quick response 8)
I'm always woried about my xbox ... my first one died 2 weeks ago... I'm lucky its not the one at my appartment that crashed but the other one at my parents house
I guess I'll just try to enjoy my games
Hi, I wanted to start a new thread about that but it seems all the halo 3 talk must stay in this one... so I live in Quebec, Canada and I just bought a copy of halo 3. The booklet is in french which is pretty common here, all game developpers have to give out french instruction booklets. When I play the campaign all the voices are in french, I found no way to change it from the setting menu.
Has anyone experienced this?
I really want to play the campaign in english.
Thx for your help

I don't know what the tax rate is where you live and I'm assuming that you are including the tax to come up with a total of $400.00
Personally, I would scrounge up the extra $50 'cause I'd know that it's not a second-hand unit (It's still out-of-the-box / used). I'm pretty picky about stuff like that so I can't really make a call for you. I'd rather pay that and have the peace of mind. If you're not too picky, then go for it.
Also, Best Buy employees get a pretty good discount so how much is he really helping you out?
I live in Canada and a xbox premium is 400$. I guess i could just say that I reallywant the hdmi output since I know there isnt one on the floor model. He's not really trying to help me out, he just mentioned that he has a floormodel availlable and that he could sell it for 350$
I guess I'll just go with a new unit... another question how can I make sure that the xbox I'm getting is one of the new ones... with the hdmi output?
According to IGN, this thing has high quality VGA signsl output and does several other things for less than the price of the M$ VGA cable.

Hows that called?
Kyusss:
I would recommend buying a new unit. Who knows how many hours that floor model has on it and if the warranty is transferable. The savings isn't all that much after all when you consider that.
Besides, the 360 premium now starts at around $350, new.

The system is sold as new so the warranty starts when I buy the system, I know its only been used to play game videos or movies, its never actually been played.
I would be saving 50$ the premium system has a retail price of 400$ (covering the first party vga cable)
knowing this is it still recommended to go with a new system?
VGA is better, you can fine tune to resolution so that it meets with your monitors max resoltion. where as dvi you just select 720p 1080 i or 1080p, even if its not the optimal setting. And a first party vga cable is like 30.00 and its super high qualtiybllrby6
Thanks that was exactly the answer I was waiting for.
