Sony Press Conference Tuesday

I am anything far from a fair weather or fan boy, but I think it's about time that the PlayStation 3 just packs up and goes home. Now of course this couldn't possibly be a pun relating to the oft-delayed PlayStation Home, which better be at E3 this year or it'll be a bust. I would like to see some ground moving announcements from Sony this year... first off, do away with the two SKU concept. Microsoft's done it, but they're doing it right and there are actual major differences between something you pay $100 less for. The Xbox 360 SKU's are just a far greater difference of value compared to the different SKU's of the PlayStation 3. Fears, at least for me, of the announcement of a PlayStation Portable successor hopefully do not come true. I love the idea that I do not have to keep running out and buying a new console every four years or so. Honestly, just update hardware with a different SKU of the original PlayStation Portable like you've been doing. I'm still fine with my first generation PSP. But as stated, here are some things that I would like to see at the Sony Press Conference on Tuesday, and at E3 2008: PlayStation Home announcements and functionality with the PlayStation Portable, an achievement system for the PlayStation Portable, possible port of Elder Scrolls to the PSP, the condensing of multiple SKU's, and finally, the announcement of the availability of the camera and GPS accessories for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in the United States and North America.
