I paid $600 for my PS3 ( :cry: ) but over the life of the console I'll have spent more on my 360, and it doesn't include a blu-ray player or wireless connectivity.Shame-usBlackley
I don't know about that. $50 still seems like a pretty good value when I compare it to the online experience that I get from my PS3. Communication is either non-existant or not used by the majority of the people in games, setting up matches is a nightmare, there's no cross-game invites. Hell, you can't even chat or send messages with someone while even playing a game -- you just have to sit there looking at the stupid XMB.
I agree that $50 a year is overpriced, but only relative to Live itself. In comparison to the online offerings of the competition, it's a sweet-ass deal. I've gotten so I can barely stand to play online with the PS3.
i know u cant privet chat but lost planet for ps3 came up with an update that u press triangle ur friends list comes up and u can send messagese and add ppl and do all that but lost planet is the only game that does that
