I think it's a good start and I'm hoping that the launches around the rest of world will be good also. Nintendo needs to keep the momentum going and hopefully they have learnt from the 3DS launch and will release good games after the release window especially with the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony on the horizon. I like the Nintendo Directs I think they give good information to consumers and fans so hopefully they will continue that with the Wii U and more importantly E3 needs to be big for Nintendo next year. Bring out the big guns!
@SIDEFX1 @GH05T-666 @Undietaker Do you own NSMBU, Pikmin 3, ZombieU, The wonderful 101, Rayman Legends and of course the controversial Bayonetta 2? Didn't think so. People buy Nintendo systems because they get games and experiences only on their systems. How is Mario a kiddy game? because it doesnt have blood? Some Mario games I have played have frustrated me more than games like Mass Effect when it comes to difficulty. And I own all systems and enjoy them all for their different games and experiences.
I think we get ripped off for how much we have to pay for games. The Wii U games are now on par with the PS3 and X360 games. I will be importing them like I do for PS3 and X360. Theres no reason we should have to pay 110 when in the US and UK they are around 60.
@SIDEFX1 @GH05T-666 @Undietaker I paid 1000.00 for the original PS3 and I'm guessing the ps4 will be around a similar price point. For the Wii U to be only 350-420 is awesome value for money.
