After a long while of not ugrading any hardware of mine. I decided to do a small upgrade this month. I decided to go widescreen and get a 22" Samsung Widescreen lcd monitor with 2ms response time. So out with the 19" and in with the 22" Wide screen! After that I decided to upgrade some audio componets as well. I got the Icemat Siberia Headset instead of the Sennheiser pc 150 that I have now. The mic broke on the pc 150's so I tossed those. 

 

In the gaming department I haven't done as much gaming as I would like, but with the new C&C game out its hard to stay away from gaming. So I might pick that one up. In the 360 deparment I might get the xbox 360 elite version next month, and trade in my original 360 for it. It just looks so damn good in black!  I also still want to get Rainbow Six vegas for the 360.

Yes, I am still alive. Just been busy recently. I haven't made any big chances to my pc hardware wise except I got another 500gb hd for storage. Software wise I have got a lot of new games recently. I have been playing the demos of the new rts games like company of heros and darkcrusade they are amazing, and I should be getting those soon. If you guys don't know I am on xfire usually. My nickname is the same one as here. So if anyone wants to chat or play a game I am on xfire.

I got a new case this week. I got the new Antec p180b, it is bigger then my last case, and it cools a lot better. It is also a lot quieter. I can't hear this thing at all. It sounds like the computer is off.

I finally got my xbox 360. I got a pretty good deal for 399 I got a wireless controller, play and charge kit some rechargeable batterires and and a nyko intercooler kit that you attach to the back of the xbox 360.

Well I should be updating very soon. I am getting a whole rig all together. Don't worry I will keep you guys posted on what I am doing.

I was playing half life 2 a couple weeks ago, and I started to hear this stuttering sound when playing. I found out it was my on board sound card. I really needed a soundcard and I finally ordered a new sound card called the X-fi Xtreme music.  It will be hear soon, and once I see the results on that I will let you guys know.

P.S. I am gonna order some gaming headphones soon too. Does anyone have any good suggestions for gaming headphones with a mic built in?

This is my first blog.....it reminds me of one x-men character from uncanny called the blob. Anyway I am 20 years old, and I recently got a new PC rig. I own a xbox as well. I have not played pc games in 10 years, so I am really behind. So don't be in shock when I am playing old games all the time. Because I am working my way backwards.

Right now I am in the games of late 2004 like half life 2, pirates, halo 2. Even though so many new games have come out, I am still having fun, and I will be updating my video card soon to a 7800 gt so I can play call of duty 2 and FEAR.
