I disagree that this is nothing more than trolling in the form of an article. Think about it: the PSP is a handheld console, meaning it is to be portable. One of the things that people expect portable systems to do is play a quick game of whatever. If you only have ten minutes before you need to go somewhere then you probably actually want to *play* for about ten minutes--not waste almost half your time waiting for it to load up. IMHO, it's valid criticism for Gamespot to make. For the record, I like Sony stuff and I've put in too many hours on my PS2. Doesn't mean that by commenting on a legit problem with the PSP makes me a Sony basher.

To the person who said we shouldn't be surprised at longer load times because of higher complexity...guess again. Did you miss the part about the highest rated games often having the lowest load times? Clearly there is a correlation between well coded games and games done short on time, budget or both. PSP gamers do have to accept that PSP will always take longer to load up than a DS. That said, they shouldn't have to "settle" for longer load times, because clearly, when the team has the time, money or motivation to do so, the load times *can* be shortened.
