If I was going to spend an extra $100 or so..would it be worth it (If I went with the Intel build) to bump the CPU up to the i-7 870 2.93 GHz?
Such as a ATI 5870? There are options for AMD Video Cards as opposed to ATI, but ive heard alot of bad things about the AMD Graphics cards. Could be nonsense but as far as ATI cards go the only thing higher I could choose would be the 5870. Choosing a GTX would put me over my price mark, but as you said I could always lower the CPU a bit to make up for that.
@NLahren - Would but the site where im putting it together doesnt offer them anymore. They had a recall on them or something I believe (CyberPower)
Made a post a few days ago about building a PC, I think its come down to 2. An Intel build and an AMD Build..both with everything I want on them and almost identical in price. Only thing do now is to choose one of them, im having trouble with this..so I thought id go ahead and post it on here to see what you guys think.
First off, the price of the two includes rush shipping/extras that im not going to post on here. Ill just post the basics, also im sticking with the price tag..im not going to spend anymore than $1400. Maybe $1500, seeing as how if I go with the Intel im gonna want an i-7 over an i-5 CPU. Thats about the only thing id change, but anywayhere are the 2 builds..and as I said these are probably around $1000 builds. The other $300-400 comes from other things.
