The Switch concept is great but as is the case with Nintendo, you're grossly overpaying for old technology. This time around, severely cut down old technology since the Tegra x1 SoC that it utilizes is cut down considerably. The device itself should be no more than $250 with $200 being a more realistic asking price. An Nvidia Shield TV which uses the full blown version of the same exact SoC cost under $200.

@Barighm: That is why i just said 4K/60 FPS. I already know that most games will not run on the platform at Native 4K/60FPS. Even with how well built the system is, the CPU will hold it back & the GPU simply does not have enough horsepower to drive that many pixels on graphically demanding games. So technologies such as checkerboarding will very much be a factor. Obviously, Bungie will be using techniques to make the game feel like it's a Native 4K game. Especially on the PS4 Pro where it is more needed than the Xbox One X. When that is the case, the hardware is being taxed a lot less compared to if the game was running native at 4K. This is why some people will have a hard time believing that the game could not accomplish 60FPS on the Xbox One X. Although they never said it couldn't like they did with the PS4 Pro so that will always be a matter of opinion. I will say this though, if the game does not look a good deal better on the Xbox One X than it does on the PS4 Pro, then we can all pretty much confirm that the game was indeed held back on purpose to honor the contract they have with Sony. The Xbox One X might be lacking in the CPU department but it damn well makes up for it with the GPU.

The CPU in the Xbox One X is FAR from just an overclock. Which is what people seem to keep wanting to point out as the reason why the game is going to be running at 30FPS. It is a complete revision of the Jaguar architecture. To the point that they had to rename the CPU " Custom Jaguar evolved x86 ". The CPU has newer instruction sets which was stated in the Digital Foundry videos, it benefits a great deal from Direct X 12 being implemented directly into the GPU, a faster memory bus/bit rate vastly improves system communication between the hardware & a beefier GPU gives it more breathing room. Going by reports of other far better looking games at E3 running at 4K/60 FPS, no one is going to buy the excuse that the CPU was too weak to push 4K 60FPS. Destiny 2 is not setting any graphical milestones. If they really go through with locking the Xbox One X version of the game at 30FPS, that will give the system even more headroom to work with in the graphics department. It should look many levels better than the PS4 Pro version if that is the case. If it doesn't look any better than the PS4 Pro version, then that will confirm that the game was held back on purpose.

@battlestreak: I think Nvidia just busted out laughing actually. It's an X80 part. You know, AMD's former entry level high end series of GPU's? The fact that it's price so low says a lot about the performance. This series was suppose to go up against the GTX 1070. It may not even be able to compete with a GTX 1060 if AMD felt the need to go that deep on the price at launch. Every source was predicting $299.99 which would of been the right price to match the specs/performance ( on paper). You can trust that Nvidia is not concerned at all.

@misaelcarrillo: I'm in the same boat. People are drooling on the price point while my mindset is " if this is the best AMD has for now, they are so screwed "

@games2525: Well why not? If this is the best AMD can do atm, Nvidia made the right move. The fact that the GTX 1080 sold out in seconds confirmes that. As for this card, AMD pretty much took a flagship GPU series ( x/xx80) & knocked it down to $200. That speaks volumes on how this GPU actually performs. Is it a smart move? Of course but I don't even want to begin to matching how much they are losing on this GPU part. That also raises MAJOR concerns on just how well the R/RX 460 & below will perform & at what price point. If they even bother to make those parts that is. I see this pricing as bad news more than I see it being any good for the company.

@ishsgames: Don't know man. I tend to stick to sources I trust & they are all reporting the same thing that [H]ard|OCP has reported. I've also been part of that community for 11+ years now & when they report something on this scale, they are almost never wrong. I am going to lean on there word over others on the Polaris situation. If the Polaris information from the insider sources hold true, one of two things will happen.

1) Polaris will make the announced Q3 launch window ( back to school ) but will yield poor performance that will need to be heavily driven by driver software.

2) The Polaris arc will be delayed until Q4 or worse case scenario, Q1 2017 to give them time to bin a new batch of chips with the needed optimal changes so it can compete the Nvidias current GTX 1080/1070 parts or refresh offerings.

I am dead set in believing that Polaris will not be some magical arc that will blow the GTX 1080 out of the water performance wise. The way AMD has been acting on the subject pretty much confirms that.

@justin12421: That is looking very doubtful if the stories from the past few days are true. Which have been pretty much reporting very poor yields of the chips that are falling well below performance expectations. Link to such an article from a trusted PC Enthusiast site...

I was watching this on my laptop & my Kinect could understand all of it other than the Australian one lol. I'm sure the audio was adjusted from this video through my laptop speakers but it was funny watching my Xbox One go crazy doing almost everything that was spoken in this vid. It even got Game Spot right on the first try lol.

Street Fighter is just boring now & the fights shown in this video show how little you need to know to be good at it. You don't have to be great but as long as you have good timing, your opponent will always have a difficult time trying to reach you or hit you. Especially if you're playing with a projectile character. Reason why I ditched it in favor of the Virtua Fighter franchise back in the 90's.
