you're right...there's no way a 6'3" guy who lifts regularly and is proficient in kung-fu could ever take down a guy 6'5" guy who lifts regularly......that's just perposterous! well i didn't know you were 6'3" i thought you were 5'3"
[QUOTE="kikman5"]most of the mods actually belive in this kung-fu stuff :o tell me kung fu can stop a 6'5'' dude built like a tank. those high kicks wont do you any goodOmni-Slash
who's to say the kungfu guy is a weakling....If I were to be into kungfu a 6'5" guy built like a tank would be a crying little baby when I was done with him... unless your as good as steven seagal, i don't see that happening.
[QUOTE="authorityissues"]Learning step-by-step patterns with random punches and kicks here and there? Yeah, it's a waste. MMA is probably your best bet. It's the most practical and it cherry-picks all the best moves. Kind of like a "Greatest Hits" version of martial arts. I agree that mma is better then kung fu and karate
[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]Actually, it was posited by the Catholic church that the Earth was flat. The Greeks before Jesus was born knew the Earth wasn't flat and it was men of science who proved that hypothesis wrong... and sailors.scorch-62
Actually... the flat Earth belief originated in some ancient civilization (I think the name started with an "M"?). The idea was brought back by the Catholic church in the middle ages, despite evidence showing otherwise. Just wanted to clear that up... The Mayans
