I have experienced that if I swing my WiiMote wildly, Link will sometimes perform a vertical slash, but that is part of his attack (so it is one attack with two horzontal and one vertical slash). Note that when I did this I only swang the WiiMote horizontally, not vertically, meaning that Link does only perform a vertical slash if the Nunchuk stick is pushed forward.

I'm glad Nintendo decided to design Link as an adult as I don't like the style used in Wind Waker, Minish Cap and many others of the handheld games (...I think I may be the only one here...).
The colorful look however is awesome, although I did like TP's visuals. As long as it's adult Link, I don't care if it's dark or brightly colored.
Link should stay silent, but the other characters can have voice-over. I liked Midna talking in TP... and in my opinion that "Hyrulian-gibberish language" idea sounds best. But not for Link. He's just shy XD~
I am 27, my wife is 23, and my little girl is 3. She just figured out how to turn on the wii, select links crossbow training, and play all the levels. She is actually pretty good, in a "I feel like a failure of a parent" kind of way.ekalbtwin
Aww, I'd say you have a very intelligent daughter there ^o^
I'll be 20 by the end of this year, so that makes me 19 now.
My parents (51 and 52) aren't really gamers, but I managed to make them play video games with me sometimes.
I have even played video games with my grandma who is 84 now.
But these were only games like those singing stuff or Wii Sports... uh well and when I was a little younger Pokémon XD'
