Well the day has finally come, and I got my hands on my very own PSP. I picked up the Gretzky Bundle around 4pm EST today, and I also got THUG2 as well. Since the moment I opened up the PSP box, I was amazed by it, and the screen blew me away when I turned it on for the very first time.


Here is what I picked up today...PSP, Thug2 and Gretzky NHL.

Okay, so lets get this impression going. My first disappointed came early after I opened up the box. I figured since I had to pay full price for this stupid Gretzky Package, I would get Gretzky in a normal UMD Case, but I should have known better. Instead I got this...



I expected for Spiderman 2 to come in a sleeve but not Gretzky! Oh well...I cant do anything about it, life goes on. I love the idea of Sony including a cloth for the PSP, because it gets a lot of dust particles and smudges from fingers. But I have learned to not pay attention to that very much, while Im playing at least.

My first good experience for the PSP was when I saw the size of the UMD's. I thought that they would be bigger then that, but I love the size that they are. Not to big, but not to small.




While I am on the topic of size, the screen is HUGE. I fell in love with it, as soon as I saw it for the first time. I was lucky enough to get a unit without any dead pixels, or nothing else wrong with it. The memory stick duos are also very small, a LOT smaller then I originally thought, and that is good, cuz I dont want to have these massive memory cards to carry everywhere.

The one thing I wonder about the PSP is the UMD drive. It uses basically the same technolgoy as the MiniDisc players, when it comes to opening and closing the drive or slot. They have that stupid little latch, and from past experiences, if you are not careful with this latch, then it will bend and affect the ability to open and close properly.

As long as you are careful with it (which you should be for $249 USD/$299 CND) you shouldnt have a problem with this.



Overall, I give the US Value pack, a 9/10.

Wow so I already love this little MP3 player. I almost have it have full about 55 songs or so, and Im loving it. It was so much smaller then I thought it was going to be, for people who havent seen one before, a kitchen spoon is taller in height then the shuffle and it is as wide if not a bit smaller then a standard white eraser. I suggest anyone looking for just a small, MP3 player, pick up a Shuffle. It wont disappoint you.

Well I just downloaded FireFox to use as my default internet Explorer, and I like it a lot more then the default browser. It looks more appealing on the graphic side and it runs very smoothly. I dont seem to have any problems right now, and I havent got any spam/popups/etc yet.. I suggest everyone try FireFox for yourselves!

Wow, so what a feeling to have to go to bed at 1030pm on a Friday night! It sucked so bad, and the only reason I had to sleep is because I knew 4am the next morning was going to come quick. I hate having to go into work at 430a, but hey at least im done by 1 in the afternoon. So everyone be grateful that YOU didn't have to waste a friday night, and go to bed really early.

Today I ditched the unpopular board, and created a new one called Handheld Revolution. Everyone should come check it out, its for the gamers that dont wanna flame each system, but talk about both, compare etc. It should be a good board, had over 100 posts in the first day alone. Well i finally started my own board. The Handheld Harvest Moon Board.. It has started to pick up the last couple of days. Many more people coming to the boards and tlking everything harvest moon. I'd prefer if it was about the most recent games, including the newest versions for GBA and DS. But we will see what happens. Thanks for all who post there~!

I also have a new Sig for right now, its kinda temporary, but it will do until I make myself a better one...

Finally after all my wainting I finally got my Nintendo DS. It was so worth it too. I picked up Mario 64 and Feel The Magic and those two games along with the Metriod Demo are making me slip into a state of shock cuz they are all so awesome. The wireless chat from pictochat is also pure geniuous and works so good. I lucked out and didnt get a DS with dead pixels so my first experience with my DS has been one of pure genious. I love this new handheld. It will be at the top of the handheld wars, hands down.

Wow halo2 on xbox live is pure amazing, theres nothing better then taking 2 smg's into battle or a energy sword and just owning people. Then talking as much trash as I possible can.
