onally i would come to GS more for the entertainment of each editor's personality and the overall atmosphere the site had. (e3 the past 2 years were great to watch live). Reviews are one thing but honestly, wouldn't rely on one site for reviews, I just enjoy hearing someone elses opinion. GS just doesn't feel the same and I get a sense of how they are struggling to be the site it was a year ago. I'm not saying giantbomb.com is the be all/end all site to go to but when I go there I get a sense of what things use to be like here at GS. I am by no means some kind of apostle of Jeffs I just enjoyed his interactions with Ryan and their take on things.

i guess the point of this thread was also to get people's thoughts on GS and how its changed. I know for me seeing giantbomb.com start up was a nice throw back to a few years ago.

I'm there all the time. I love it. It will surpass GameSpot as the best gaming site on the interwebz someday.blackngold29

GS is BY FAR the furthest thing from the "best gaming site" on the interwebz. this place has gone down the toilet and isnt showing signs of getting better.

PS this isnt Jeff

ok I agree it did not include squad tactics like any of the Tom Clancy games (Raven Shield being one of my favs). You hop on steam right now and tell me how "run and gun" the game really is. When it comes to team based shooters you can't deny that CS is a major player.

Not saying any of the Rainbow 6 or Ghost recon games aren't great, I just prefer the oldschool CS. It was a game that on the surface was so simple but had levels of depth and has stood the test of time.

i agree its a team based shooter, but that doesn't mean its tactical....its a game where you run around at fast speeds and knife people...its not exactly tactical.....great game, especially 1.6, but still, not tactical

I guess it just depends how literally you're taking the definition of tactical
