New PSP?

Ah... The PSP 3000. The newest PSP on the market. I spent all night waiting for the local gaming store to open up so I could be the first to get it! What's that you say? There's a NEW PSP coming out soon? You mean to say I spent all that money, and all that time getting the PSP 3000 just so that Sony can release a PSP2? No way. They wouldn't do that to me! Yes they would. And great news! The new rumoured PSP2 comes a right analog stick!... Wait, no it doesn't. If this is a true PSP2 and not just a PSP1 upgrade, then why not throw in an extra thumbstick? Heck, all it takes is moving some wires, drilling a hole and snapping the little nub on. They could have done this YEARS ago, but decided, for some ungodly reason, that it's just not worth it. How is putting a second piece of plastic, one that will open up new possibilities for gaming on the PSP, not worth it? You don't even have to use the damn thing if you don't want to, and it's not even aesthetically displeasing. The reason I only use the PSP for RPG and side-scrolling adventure games is simple. The PSP does not have the competent controls for playing a FPS. Oh and also, rest in peace faithful UMD, you're being replaced by a thinner, better way to play video games. You were a great friend to us all. Unfortunately for you, the SD card is a BETTER friend. Don't fret though, you'll always have a place in our hearts, rather, the wastebasket. The new PSP will be UMDless, not that that's a bad thing, let's just hope we can download all of our UMDs for free at the PSN.
