in other words its not worth buying until it goes platinum and they half the price...
really....im not spending money on a game that gonna be so easy, and be over in a few days.
why cant they just try and cvhallenge gamers, rather than making games so damn n00b friednly these days

Im 26 and a big gamer. my wife is 20 big gamer. my son is 5 and loves playing little big planet he even wants to play gmes like CoD. my older brother is 38 and he plays everything from sports to fps. my father even plays games on my wii with my son and he is 60. there is no age for gaming its for fun. thats liek saying going Fishing is or young people cuz its fun. How bout watching football do we have to stop cuz its fun?? how bout playing sports cant o it anymore cuz its fun? then i guess all i should do is goto work and sleep cuz thats all so much fun.g3toutj00

yes its a gimmick...and it will get tired very quickly...why ? because...at least with guns there is a variety....you can even customise them in MGS... really what they shoudld do is just release a mod for GTA giving niko 'electrical powers'...then there would be no need to buy infamous... and all you people claiming to be 'old'...your obviously big children....be ashamed of yourselves...this game is a joke, and it will suck when its released...u'll see. this game is only being hyped because he can float around using electricity and climb up walls...take that away...and what do you have ?....the onus is on ELECTRICITY....substitute that for a shotgun or an AK...and it sno different to tons of other games....gime a break....this game is a mockery. also...im not a fanboy of 360....if u like i'll forward you a caution i got for posting a thread int eh 360 section...im ps3 all the way. You must have a natural hate for games that are the least bit hyped. i watched videos...game looked very ordinary to me... its niko running around using the had-o-ken on people..how creative. what i find funny...is...its obvious the people hyping this game are teenagers...i guess the idea of a guy using electricty to fly and 'zap' people...excites them. i mean...whats the differnece between him using electricity to power up a train, and him pressing a button ?....WOW...electricity is just there as a gimmick, and it will get tired and repetitive real quick....what else can he do apart from shoot balls of lightening ? the game looks bad.
read through the thread again... i never once used the term 'over-hyped'...how can i when i have'nt played or know that much about the game, and i have only watched a demo....which is what all the people 'HYPING' it have also done...which is why am asking...whats so sepcial about it.... people do seem to get excicted easily dont they...There's no such thing as overhype. If you think something looks good obviously you're going to hype it up a lot; it's just a matter of opinion. "Overhype" is just something people use when they disagree with other peoples' anticipation. It doesn't mean anything.
