I think many people are wrong for saying BlueRay Vs. DVD doesn't matter. If that was the case why dont we still use CD-Roms? Eventually publishing games with 6 or 7 disks will be too much of a hassle from a Operations standpoint

Hey man, this is coming from a Sony Fan. No the 360 is not going to fade away, the life cycle being seven years long is my prediction. As for support, sure there are failure rates, the dvd9 issue and the boatleoads MS is losing on the X360. But MS has deep pockets and the third party support theyve been getting as of now is anything but lack luster stealing major exclusivesfrom the PS3. As long as MS is in second place theyre not going anywhere for the next two years. The Wii will last till the end of time though at this rate.

The main issue I believe with the disks is that certain genres of games cant use multiple disks such as a racing game or a fighting game, party games, and rhythm games. You cant have some tracks on one disk or some fighters on one disk, you need all the data on a single disk.

Also from my view of things managing things on one CD seems to be easier for a developer, managing bugs fixes in one area. Blueray vs. DVD isnt much of an issue in alot of case, such as game with linear path. But in the realms of more open ended or non linear ones it becomes a big issue, making a developer cut more content than he/she may want to

You should get it for its fantastic graphics, great action gameplay and if their jadedness hadnt gotten in the way it would have gotten round a 8.5 to 8.8. Def worth a buy considering the price.

Rez, Suikoden III and ICO deserve to be up there. Those are some of the best games on the PS2 really, even if you havent heard of em.

Where there is money to be made there will be no moving on... SE will suck all the money they can out of a story before moving on.
