My favourite games of 2005 go as followed:
5) Burnout 3: Take-down (Playstation 2)
A supremely fun racing arcade title that truley delivers a sense of speed.
4) Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest (Playstation 2)
Five classes and enormous world provide replay value. Now only if it had just a few touch-ups...
3) Fable (X-Box)
This game delivered. It provided an astonishing world that seemed alive. The enemies you fought were unique and this RPG never ceases to surprise.
2) Halo 2 (X-Box)
Although very similar to the original Halo 2 is amazingly different. Some things stand out in this one while great things about the original do not. I had sort've mixed feelings after I finished but this truly is an amazing shooter.
1) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Playstation 2)
An amazing achievement. My favourite of the series. Jaw-dropping sequences near the end provide a very proper ending to one of the most fantastic games I've ever played. GAME OF THE YEAR.
My next entry will include scores of all the games I played during 2004 for the first time. Even games I had never played before and came out in previous years will be on there. I have delayed the top-ten of all-time for a future date.
