your fanboy response amuses me but i never said you shouldnt play it...and do i really need to label it..GTA(360 Versions) are the most overated of all time...honestly when people say halo is overrated do theyspecify wether it is teh PC version or the XBox version...and when people talk about hour of victory being the 2007 GOTY they usually dont tell us wether they are talking about the PC version or xbox version...since this is teh 360 forum it is impliedLOL!!!

and also, yes i told you not to play it and escpecially don't complain about it. I DON't like HALO 2, but you don't see me going around making WHOLE THREADS on why i think it is overrated. and i don't play it, because I DON't LIKE IT.

I'm kind of mixed about this thread. On the one hand, I don't normally like threads that are just asking for people to bicker. On the other hand, I do agree that GTA is overrated with gameplay that is not deep and a sandbox style that gets repetetive quickly. I'm glad someone else has the same opinion that I do.
You know what other game (series) I think is overrated?

There, I said it. while much more entertaining to me than GTA, I have never found myself truly engrossed by the Zelda games and quickly get tired of all the walking and the simple fights. I concede that parts are fun, but I don't agree with all the accolades is keeps receiving.
Oh yeah, and the same goes for....
Half-Life 2!
Woo! They give you the means to pick up objects in a first person shooter and fling them for (in most cases) little damage! Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed HL2. I even played through it twice. A good deal of the aspects of the gameplay, however, are dated and don't give anything to shout about, I feel. For one thing, there is not nearly the array of weapons and enemies that was present in Half Life. I felt that that was one of the defining aspects of the series. The story hasn't got much going for it: you're in the dark on an alien conspiracy and end up just doing what you're told. Then, my biggest gripe: the fact that you have to unload an entire magazine from an SMG into a combine soldier's head in order to bring him down.
I'd write more, but it's late, I'm out of steam, and I kind of stopped caring.
