Your 6200 overclocked competes with a 8500GT? Then my 7600 GT overclocked competes with a 8800GTX.

Also why do your links link to Outlook Express? And learn to spell and use punctuation. My 4 year old cousin can spell better then you.

Also it would be a waste to get water cooling for that card, you are better off saving up for a 8800 GT or GTS (since some of them are essentially the same price)

The guy is just asking for a bit of advice, there is no need to be rude. Unfortunately hidden behind a veil of anonymity people do tend to be emboldened.

Oblivion is very much overrated. Everything about it just seemed off to me, from it's score to it's lack of real rpg elements, it's lack of immersion and bad ui, i found the story wanting too. I would give it a 7 out of ten. As for Fable, to me it seemed more like a 5/10, the art style just killed it for me.

Ah, gotcha. That makes sense then.

Oh, and what you've noticed is just how easy Bliz made it for people to level up in the early levels. Seriously, getting from 1-60 takes hardly any time at all (especially if you've already gone through the 20-60 content before). My blood elf paladin got to level 60 in about 7 days of in-game play time (and that's on a pvp server to boot).

yeah it's great IMO heavy grinding is just stupid in a MMO

If you don't like grind end game is going to destroy your soul.

I must agree with Kevin here. Most people compare games of that Genre to the most successful game of that Genre. It is quite funny how people will suddenly compare a vet game like WoW to a brand new game like AoC. From watching you Kevin play the game on the Marathon from then i wanted to play it. Though i must first upgrade my pc, which in turn means get a brand new one. So yea I am looking for work now :P. Still every game has its flaws, and you should not judge one on its flaws alone.

*thumbs up to Kevin!*

New standards my friend. If a new mmo doesn't quite hold up to WoW and not just WoW even additional mmo's including Guild Wars, Everquest ect. then odds are people will look the other way. One of the flaws of mmorpg imo are the monthly fees which sort of creates a barrier to isolate the player from trying and actively playing just more then one mmo.

While it's great to see Age of Conan score well for some strange reason I'm just not confident this game holds well to WoW. WoW imo set the bar really really high but I won't compare just yet until I've experienced Age of Conan. I can only hope a fun experience awaits me to topple the phenomenal WoW because it's just so hard to replace WoW with another mmo.

You are joking right? WoW is one of the worst games of all time, in fact all of blizzards games are terrible. AoC will never topple WoW. The game just as with all of the blizzard stable is lowest common denominator, childish fluff, Alas this has opened the market up to a lot of kids who's tastes suit that premise. The likelihood of them switching over to anything other than WoW 2 is zero. AoC is a great game but it will never have WoW numbers.

Listen bud just cuz your that 10 percent fo the gaming community that doesnt like Starcraft, or warcraft, or WoW, or Diablo does not make them bad games, it just means you dont like it. If they were so bad then why is every1 hyping Stacraft 2 like no tmr...Thank god we dont live in a world where games are made to your standards..

The very reason i dislike WoW...Because it has impeded creativity within a genre that could be so much more and made games that fit in to my standards harder to make. People are free to like whatever games they wish, it's all subjective. But from my own point of view if i see a Damien Hirst being lauded as a Michelangelo, i feel inclined to comment.

All this MMO hype has got me to try out the WoW 10 day trial and I must say I am having fun with my Orc Hunter, the whole artstyle and ambience of the game is really impressive.

Out of curiosity I do not understand where all this hate comes for WoW and all this love for AoC. As far as I understand it leveling in AoC is not incredibly complex, death penalty is minor, the game starts out instanced, the end game content (when it's put in) is going to be instanced, the games version of raids are not fun, the community is the same as WoWs except now they can grief you, there is barely any crafting, no complex in game economy, you have to replay a single player game every time you start a new character, what do you even get for killing in PvP,; do they drop all their loot, if the world is instanced what's the point of PvP and how can you get your revenge?

I mean I see the strengths of the game; fun combat and ambience but whatever its flaws it seems like WoW has them too. if you really want a seamless free for all world shouldn't you all ditch Conan and go play EVE instead? I think on these forums its become popular to bash Blizzard and their games and simply praise the alternatives.

AoC is not Sandbox no, but it doesn't masquerade as sandbox. Ideologically it is far from my perfect game concept, but it fits a niche well. A FFA pvp, skill centric, minimal grind, low fantasy, immersive game world based on a great ip.

You weren't impressed with the combat of Guild wars, but were with Diablo's? ok. For a recommendation i would suggest Titan quest, it plays a lot like Diablo. There are also a lot of f2p hack and slash mmo's out there that play the same.

WoW - most fun

LOTRO - great lore almost as fun as WoW

AoC - taste of the day, great hype, nice graphics if you have a nice system, don't listen to all the fan boys about the "innovative" fighting system, it just like LOTRO and WoW

EQII - often forgotten but still a very good game that's polished with a huge world and tons of classes

ct1615

Bah, the combat system is soooo much better than WoW's or Lotro's, innovative or not.

bah, your wrong. as always.

Does LOTRO/WOW have an active shield system?

Does LOTRO/WOW have a combo system?

Does LOTRO/WOW have proper collision detection in their combat systems?

Does LOTRO/WOW have Spellweaving?

Does LOTRO/WOW have Mounted combat?

Does LOTRO/WOW have fatalities?

That would be no, no, no, umm no, no, and finally, no.

the game is sa peace of **** just like your a **** peace of ****!

does AoC have even 1/10 of WoW players...nope

combo system, please it just tells idiots people like you what buttons to press!

OMG collision system, wait till you raid and see all the people **** about

fatalities, you must be 12 years old? i guess you love the witcher because it shows you fake boobs too? im done with idiots like you!

A perfect example of one of the worst aspects of WoW, the little kiddies. Not forgetting it's an all around god awful game. Lotr is like a slightly better version, but still one to avoid. AoC or Ao depending on your preferences. Or wait for Warhammer, Stargate.
