The Moment of Truth...

So, in early spring, the school councilers came to our Algebra II class to speak to us about the ACTs. We were only sophmores, so we weren't supposed to take it yet, but since we were the 'acclerated' kids we were advised to take it. And since Kentucky is an ACT state and they want us to stay here, they suggested we take it.

 I took it.

Grueling, it was. The science had so much chemisry, something I didn't have. The trig section on the math was difficult, it'll improve next year, I hope.

So yesterday, I recieved my scores. It was the moment of truth for me. And I got a 27!

Not bad for a sohmore, eh?

I'm happy and I feel like bragging!

So as many of you may or may not know, I'm in an AP WOrld History Class. Yes, World History.

So far, we've had four tests, including a midterm. Here's my grades:

Unit 1 (10,000BCE-600CE): 100%
Unit 2 (600-1450): 95%
Unit 3 (1450-1750): 95%
Midterm (10,000BCE-1750CE): 105%

My teacher does the curve from the second highest score out of the three classes that are taking the class. So I've been the highest and second highest.

YAY!

Yeah, I just felt like cheering. I feel like I will probably get a 5 on the exam.

Apparently I gained a level...

Go figure. Since yesterday, I went up sixty percent from 89% on level 11, to 49% on level 12.

So now I am an evil Bert. I always liked Bert, but Elmo still pawns out of all the residents of Sesame Street.

Wow...random blog post...

Happy Thanksgiving

Have a happy turkey day folks. Don't forget to thank God and be thankful for everything you have. Don't eat too much, but still have fun. God Bless!

New Site

Okay, comic fans. I'm shamelessly advertising a new comic site I frequent:

http://www.capesandtights.com/board/portal.php

Originally, it was JLAU, but we opened our borders, and became DC/Marvel, among with other things. Many of you like comics, at least, those who are my friends on this site, and maybe you all will like it. The people there are great, and they treat you like a family.

Look me up, I'm Gotham's Princess.

A Brunette's Blonde Moment

Seriously, I did something completely stupid. Well, technically, didn't do something. I didn't remember something. I kinda forgot Muslims were Islam....On my AP Worl History test.

Yep, I am an idiot. I watch the news, I swear! Heck, I even want to work for CNN. I even have a 4.0 GPA. And I forgot who the Islams were. I. AM. AN. IDIOT. Point and laugh. I would too. That was completely idiotic. Man...I hope I did good on the multiple choice, cuz I sure didn't on the DBQ.

TV Show Survey

List your six favorite TV shows, then answer the questions under the cut.

Note: I put these is no particular order.

1. Smallville

2. Justice League Unlimited

3. Gilmore Girls

4. Teen Titans

5. Lost

6.  Friends

1. Who is your favorite character from #2?

The Flash, Wally West, The Fastest Man Alive. I like his humor and how is is carefree, but in times of great need, he can really be serious and save the day.

2. Who is your least favorite character from #4?

Mas y Menos. Two seperate people, I know, but I loathe them both equally. They were poor substitutes for Kid Flash and I'm starting to believe they are related to The Wonder Twins.

3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include?

We find out that Luthor Corp. is somehow working with the Darma Iniative and the Hanso Foundation.

4. Who is your favorite ship from #6?

Chandler and Monica. They were always my favorite 'Friends' and when they got together I loved them even more. I like the chemistry of them together. But don't get me wrong, I love Rachel/Ross as well.

5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be?

Luke and Phoebe. Why? To see how fast Phoebe will make Luke go crazy.

6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?

Kid Flash. (Notice a trend?) What will we do for a day? He can take me to all of the places around the world I've always wanted to go. You know, Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome, London, Tokyo, and Athens.

7. If you could change one thing about #2's plotline, what would you change?

Only one? Terry NEVER would have been made Bruce's son. It made it seem that you have to be related to someone great to be a great hero. I would also make Vixen leave John so he could be with Shayera and have baby Rex.

8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them.

Jack and Kate. I'm not sure why, but since the pilot episode, I have always felt like they should be together. They kissed last season, and Jack admitted he did not regret it. They're different enough to work, but close enough to stay together.

9. If the lead title characters (first names in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?

I'd save Lorelei, Clark can save himself. (He's Superman for Pete's sake!)

10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose?

Uh...It's okay as is.

11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like and what would their role be?

She'd be a smart, sassy, and sexy woman, who'd make a perfect love intrest for Joey. She'd also be Greek.

12. What happened in your favorite episode of show #2?

Thanagarians invaded the Earth. Bruce and Diana made out in an Indian Rseturaunt. Batman was near suicidal *again*, and plowed the Watchtower into a Thanagarian base. Shayera left the League, telling John she always loved him.

13. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1, who would it be and how would you do it?

Lana Lang. Lex will accidentally shoot her, and she will die in Clark's arms, who is also there.

14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose?

The set for Lost. I'd love to go to Hawaii and hang out on the beach.

15. So, I saved the best for last. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?

Kid Flash from Teen Titans. He is funny and can be romatic at times. And he can take me anywhere I would like to go.

I hate ignorant people!!!!!! HELP!

Yep, I officially know someoneworse than swtt, worse than Lemon Basil, worse than any n00b you can think of. And this is a person who does not come to tv.com, or at least I hope not, for everyone here's sanity. Do you know why? This person is ignorant! This person is insane! This person is so bad that I have to rant about it, because I am ready to pull my hair out! It's that bad!

There is no way a person could be this insane, you say. It is impossible, you say. Worse than Lemon Basil, no way, you say. (Hey! I rhymed) But she is. Do you know why? Do you?

Reason 1: Shedid not know that bacon was pork. If you think this is crazy, think this, she seriously did not know that pork chops were pork. She thought it was not organic meat. Her words, not mine.

Reason 2: She says she is a 'math genius', yet cannot tell me what a semi-circle is.

Reason 3: She did not know which city we lived in. I'm honest, then she yelled at me because not everyone knows about politics. How she thought location was politics was beyond me.

Reason 4: Now, this is more of a personal insult than anything, but I find this annoying. She said I knew nothing about comics or Superman. She told me there was no such thing as The Crisis on Infinite Earths, and Infinite Crisis was a fan fiction. She told me Superman died Pre-Crisis, and while I tried to tell her she may have been referring to The Death of Superman, she said the death took place in the sixties. Oh yeah, in DC, apparently there was no such thing as the multiverse either.

Now why am I writing this? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! She's stalking me! She won't leave me alone and I need help on what to do. I tried to tell her to bug off, but she keeps coming back. HELP! Any ideas on what to do?

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Those Canaan days we used to know! Where have they gone? Where diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddddddddd they go? Eh bien, raise your berets, to those Canaan days. So, my school put on a musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I love drama, but I couldn't carry a tune, so I didn't audition. I went to see it yesterday and love it. Thde songs were amazing. The quote above, that's from the song Canaan Days. It was amazing. Our Jospeh was also great...and hot but that's a different story. So, I sig off with those Canaan Days.

Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is considered one of the best ove stories out there for there is never such a story of such woe, than that of Juliet and her Romeo. Do you want to know what I think of this wonderful tale? It is one of the stupidest things I have ever read. No offense to Billy Shakespeare or anything, but come on! All the characters were complete idiots! For one things, the characters of Romeo and Juliet were never in love. They were in lust. You can't truly love a person if you've met them just once. Remember in Act I, Romeo was going on and on about how much he was in love with Rosaline, not Juliet. So, Mercutio and Benvolio take him to a party where he sees a pretty girl, who just happens to be Juliet, daughter of Capultet. So, after going on and on about eachother in Act II, Scene II, the decided to get married. Keep in mind this is after Romeo says he wishes he could be Juliet's bird so he can see her every day. They get married and then Mercutio dies, which is sad, then Romeo gets banish-ed. Yes, banish-ed. Juliet fakes her death, Romeo finds out and gets poison then drinks it and dies, just two figgin minutes before Juliet awakes. Juliet then kills herself because she can't live without Romeo. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, but please, this was just stupid. And don't get me started on A Modern Day Romeo and Juliet.
